The Fried Green Tomato Festival is almost here, and we have some BIG thank-yous and exciting announcements!🎶

First, we are incredibly grateful to all of our 2026 Fried Green Tomato Festival sponsors! ❤️ Your generosity and support make this event possible and, most importantly, help Heidi’s Kids continue supporting local children in need. And come hungry! Irondale Cafe will be serving a $12 meal featuring chicken tenders, mac & cheese, fried green tomatoes, a cookie, and your choice of drink — with 100% of the proceeds going to Heidi’s Kids!

Some celebrations don't need to be big to mean a whole lot. ❤️🌭
Today was one of those.
The Greater Irondale Chamber of Commerce was proud to recognize John and Jan Musso for 25 years of ownership of Gus' Hot Dogs — and to celebrate 35 years of Gus' serving Irondale from this very location.
What made the afternoon even sweeter was having John's parents, Vincent and Elizabeth Musso, there to share the moment. You could see just how proud they were — and John and Jan were pretty proud, too. ❤️
For decades, Gus' has been more than a place to grab a hot dog. It's one of those familiar Irondale places where people know one another, generations come back, and community happens over lunch.
John and Jan, thank you for the hard work, perseverance and hospitality you've poured into this Irondale tradition.
35 years of Gus'.
25 years of John & Jan.
Countless lunches, conversations and memories.
Now THAT is something worth celebrating. 🌭❤️
