🚐 🐾ALABAMA SPAY NEUTER IS NOW HIRING A FULL-TIME TRANSPORT DRIVER!

ASN is seeking a dependable Full-Time Transport Driver to safely transport dogs + cats to and from our Birmingham clinic.

⭐️Enjoy a 4-day work week (Monday–Thursday, no nights, or weekends)
⭐️Competitive pay ($17–$18/hr)
⭐️BCBS medical + dental insurance
⭐️9 paid holidays + paid vacation.
👉You’ll drive our well-maintained, climate-controlled Ford E-350 box trucks, assist with loading/unloading pet crates (up to 50 lbs) +
help keep vehicles and equipment clean.

No CDL required—just a valid license, excellent driving record + a love for animals.

👏Alabama Spay Neuter is supplementing the cost of spay neuter surgery on pets from qualified households with our Low Cost Spay/Neuter Assistance Fund, established by VP Funds + Ken Jackson.

ELIGIBILITY 👇
🏠These households can spay/neuter up to 3 pets at Alabama Spay Neuter for a copay of $25 per pet!

⭐️Eligibility:
A family member of the household must verify current enrollment in one or more government assistance programs (e.g., Medicaid, Disability, WIC, SNAP, EBT)

⭐️THIS AUGUST, we are offering $15 rabies vaccinations + $15 microchips for pets getting spay/neuter surgery under this program

⭐️Appointments:
First come, first served, so act quickly- this won’t last long!

* = Series needed for full immunity

Parasite Prevention:
Dewormer – $15
Flea Treatment – $15/month
Heartworm Prevention – $6–$10/month (based on dog’s weight)

Diagnostics:
Heartworm Test (dogs) – $35
Cat Combo Test (FELV & FIV) – $35

Your pet doesn’t have to be at the clinic for surgery to receive vaccinations. No appointment is necessary for our wellness program, walk-ins are welcome

Meet David, one of the veterinary technicians at Alabama Spay Neuter! Since joining Dr. Ferrell’s SNVS team in April, he’s become a valued part of the clinic, helping with patient care from check-in through recovery and discharge.

David loves knowing his work makes a difference for pets and their families, and he appreciates the clinic’s positive, supportive team environment.

Originally from Southern California, David attended the University of Alabama and now shares his home with his wife and four cats—all spayed or neutered at ASN nearly 10 years ago. Though he’s a cat owner, dogs are his favorite animal. Outside of work, he enjoys yoga and spin classes.

We’re so happy to have David on the team!
