Our strong community works together to lower barriers and speed the pathway for women and minority entrepreneurs. Our district manager, Hannah, has officially made her podcasting debut! She was recently featured on Sweet Home Towns, a podcast from Main Street Alabama. Alongside Dee, Columbiana Main Street Manager, she discussed the importance of beautification in commercial districts and shared more about the impactful work happening in both communities.

Another exciting grand opening is coming to Woodlawn!

Nmosa Fabrics is reopening in the district with a new location, expanded offerings, and plenty of inspiration for the next generation of fashion icons and creators. Join the celebration on May 30 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for door prizes, games, light refreshments, and family fun.

The grand opening will also introduce Create Your Own, a new sewing studio where aspiring designers, crafters, and budding ateliers can learn how to use a sewing machine and create custom pieces of their own. Summer camps are also launching soon!
