A picture can capture a moment, but it doesn’t always tell the whole story.

Today, we want to share April’s testimony — a beautiful reminder that God’s love can reach into the deepest places and bring complete transformation.

April shares:

“There was a time when I was lost in my brokenness, hurt, and addiction. I had settled into a life separated from God, not knowing how the love of Jesus could truly save me. Since then, He has placed people in my life who have shown me His love and truth. Through His love, mercy, and grace, He has brought me out of the darkness and into the identity He created for me.

Today, I am grateful for the transformation He has worked in my life and for the hope I have found in Him.”

April’s before and after is more than a picture — it is a testimony of redemption, healing, and the restoring power of Jesus.

Her story reminds us that no life is too broken, no past is too heavy, and no person is too far from the reach of God’s love.

We celebrate you, April. 🤍

Today we celebrate a life that is a testimony of God’s redeeming love. ❤️‍🔥

Happy 17th Birthday, Jori! 🎉

For her 17th birthday, Jori didn’t ask for anything extravagant… she wanted to be surrounded by her mom Michelle, her grandma, and her Mercy Gate Family. And in that moment, we were reminded of the very heart behind everything we do.

Michelle is the woman we have had the honor of walking alongside — and Jori is the beautiful picture of what happens when healing reaches beyond one life and begins to transform generations.

Jori is not just a birthday girl we celebrate today… she is a testimony. She is a reminder that when God restores a mother, He can change the story of a daughter. When one generation finds healing, the next generation can walk in freedom.

This is our why.

Not just serving a woman, but watching families be restored, relationships be healed, and lives be transformed through the love and power of Jesus.

Today, Jori made the powerful decision to be baptized — publicly declaring her faith and the new life she has in Christ. 🙌

This is what we believe:
Family can hurt… but through Jesus, family can heal.
Cycles can be broken.
Generations can be redeemed.
Lives can be made new.

The number 17 represents overcoming and victory — and today, surrounded by 17 people who love her, support her, and believe in what God is doing in her life, we witnessed a generation shift right before our eyes.

Jori, your story is only beginning. We are so honored to celebrate the woman God is creating you to be.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”
— 2 Corinthians 5:17 ✨

Happy Birthday, Jori. We love you and we are believing for all God has ahead. ❤️

✨Sunday was such a sweet and sacred moment✨

Our graduation ceremony for the women we have the privilege of serving was more than a celebration — it was a beautiful picture of redemption, restoration, and the faithfulness of God 🙏

There was something so powerful about the song “Different” by Micah Tyler that Alex Martinez 💕 sang woven into this moment. Because that is exactly what we witnessed… lives becoming different. Not because of our own strength, but because of the transforming love, grace, and power of Jesus ❤️‍🔥

This graduation carried even deeper meaning as it fell on the last day of service at Cross Kingdom Church before stepping into a new season and transitioning into the tent. It felt like such a holy marker — God closing one chapter while preparing us for everything He is bringing next 🙌

One of the most tender moments of the day was the special Father’s Blessing spoken over the women by Bill Morrill. The words spoken were not just heard — they were received. Many of the women shared that it brought healing to places in their hearts that had carried pain for years. A reminder that our Heavenly Father sees every wound, restores what was broken, and covers His daughters with love, identity, and belonging.

And now, as we step into the tent on Father’s Day, we are reminded that God is inviting us into an even greater expression of His heart — a place of refuge, restoration, and family.

“Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch out your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes.” — Isaiah 54:2

As a community and a Tribe, we are extending our tent pegs. We are making room for what God is doing. We are widening our capacity to love, serve, restore, and walk alongside women as they step into freedom and purpose.

There is so much expectancy for this next season. The seeds that have been planted, the healing that has begun, and the stories still being written are a testimony that God is not finished.

What a privilege it is to witness these women rise, grow, and discover who they were created to be cross ✝️

Such a tender, meaningful, and unforgettable moment. We honor what God has done, and we are full of faith for all that is still to
come🦋

🎓✨ Graduate Spotlight: Keila ✨🎓

Keila is not only a graduate but also someone who serves alongside the women we serve, using her own journey to encourage and support others. Her story is a powerful reminder that God often takes the places where we felt the most broken and transforms them into places of purpose.

📖 Favorite Scripture:

“For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
— 2 Timothy 1:7

This verse reflects Keila’s journey from fear and uncertainty to confidence in God’s plan. Through every challenge, she has learned to trust that God equips His children with the strength, love, and courage needed to walk forward in freedom.

💙 Favorite Mercy Gate Memory:

One of Keila’s favorite Mercy Gate memories began before she ever arrived. While incarcerated, she heard about Mercy Gate and felt a deep desire to be part of the program. Despite being told there were no openings and little hope of getting accepted, she continued to believe God had a plan.

What seemed impossible became a testimony of God’s perfect timing. Through prayer, encouragement, and God’s favor, doors began to open one by one. Looking back, Keila sees that God was working behind the scenes the entire time, placing her exactly where she needed to be and reminding her that no obstacle is too great for Him.

🌷 Future Goal:

Keila’s goal is to continue healing and allow God to use her healing to help others. She desires to be a living example that no one is disqualified from God’s love, redemption, or purpose. Through her story, she hopes other women will find hope, choose recovery, believe in themselves again, and take steps toward Jesus.

She understands that healing is a lifelong journey, and while she is still growing, she celebrates how far God has already brought her. Her heart is to walk alongside others and remind them that transformation is possible through Christ.

Keila, we are so proud of you. Your faith, perseverance, and willingness to serve others have made an impact on everyone around you. Thank you for allowing God to use your story as a beacon of hope and encouragement.

Congratulations Keila, we love you so much 🥰

🎓✨ Graduate Spotlight: Ellie ✨🎓

This Sunday we celebrate Ellie and the beautiful work God is continuing to do in her life.

Ellie has embraced her journey with authenticity, joy, and a growing faith in Jesus. Her heart for worship, community, and sharing her testimony reflects the transforming power of God at work within her.

📖 Favorite Scripture:

“They conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they did not love their lives to the point of death.”
— Revelation 12:11

This verse captures Ellie’s heart and journey. She understands the power of God’s redemption and the impact of a testimony surrendered to Him. Her story is evidence that God is still changing lives and bringing victory through His grace.

💙 Favorite Mercy Gate Memory:

“My favorite Mercy Gate moment is when I got baptized in the cold water at Corpus Christi during the Power and Love Conference. I also loved hanging out with all the beautiful people at the river, worship nights, and of course—jammy worship is the best!”

For Ellie, some of the most meaningful moments have been found in worship, fellowship, and publicly declaring her faith through baptism. These memories remind us that healing isn’t just about restoration—it’s also about finding joy, connection, and belonging in the family of God.

🌷 Future Goal:

“Security! My goal in life is to be secure in my faith and secure in my own skin. I want to be known as a safe person who has peace and who loves like Jesus. To have a big happy family and to hear, ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant!’”

What a beautiful vision for the future. Ellie’s desire is not simply for success, but for a life rooted in Christ, marked by peace, love, and faithfulness. Her goal reflects a heart that longs to reflect Jesus in every area of life.

Ellie, we are so proud of you. Your joy, authenticity, and love for the Lord encourage everyone around you. We can’t wait to see all that God has planned for your future.

Join us in congratulating Ellie as she graduates this Sunday! 🎉

🎓✨ Graduate Spotlight: Cynthia ✨🎓

This Sunday we celebrate Cynthia and the beautiful transformation God has brought forth in her life.

Cynthia’s story is one of redemption, healing, and discovering the love of God in a way she had never experienced before. Through the love shown by Mercy Gate and Shiloh House, she began to open her heart to the truth that she is deeply loved, valued, and cherished by her Heavenly Father. What once seemed impossible has become a living testimony of God’s faithfulness and grace.

📖 Favorite Scripture:

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”
— Jeremiah 29:11

This verse has become a foundation for Cynthia’s journey. As she has learned to trust God’s promises, she has begun to see that her past does not define her future. God has always had a plan filled with hope, purpose, and restoration.

💙 Favorite Mercy Gate Memory:

“Loving me through all my bad, ugly, and still loving me. The women and staff at Mercy Gate loved me with an unconditional love. That made me see and believe God’s true love for me. That has meant the world to me and has changed me for the better.”

For Cynthia, the greatest gift wasn’t a single event—it was experiencing unconditional love. Through the hands and hearts of those around her, she encountered the love of Christ in a tangible way. That love helped break down walls, bring healing to old wounds, and reveal the truth of who God says she is.

🌷 Future Goal:

“To continue to walk in freedom from addiction, abuse, and unforgiveness toward myself. To live in peace and love my adult children and grandbabies with unconditional love and without fear. Having faith in God’s truth of Jeremiah 29:11 and being living proof of it.”

What a beautiful vision for the future. Cynthia desires a life marked by freedom, peace, forgiveness, and love. As she continues to walk with the Lord, she is becoming a living testimony that God can heal broken places, restore relationships, and redeem every chapter of a person’s story.

Cynthia, we are so proud of you. Your willingness to receive God’s love and allow Him to transform your heart has inspired everyone around you. The woman you are today is evidence of God’s grace at work.

Join us in congratulating Cynthia as she graduates this Sunday! 🎉

❤️ “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God.” — 1 John 3:1

🎓✨ Graduate Spotlight: Aleena ✨🎓

This Sunday we celebrate Aleena and the incredible strength, perseverance, and faithfulness God has worked in her life.

Aleena is a devoted mother of a toddler and a woman who has pressed through every season with quiet determination and deep dependence on the Lord. While navigating motherhood and personal growth, she has continued to show up, grow, and trust God in every step of her journey.

📖 Favorite Scripture:

“When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.”
— Isaiah 43:2 (NLT)

This verse reflects Aleena’s testimony so clearly. Through challenges, transitions, and the responsibilities of motherhood, God has remained faithful.

💙 Favorite Mercy Gate Memory:

“One of my favorite memories with Mercy Gate was Breakthrough Week. Each speaker brought such powerful messages, and every testimony shared was impactful. Hearing others speak about what they had walked through, and gaining a deeper understanding of inner healing, was so meaningful to me.

We ended the week by swimming and having lunch at Mo-Ranch, which was so much fun. It was my son Meeko’s first time swimming there and he absolutely loved it.”

Breakthrough Week was a defining moment of growth, revelation, and joy. It was a reminder of how God meets us in both healing and celebration—strengthening the heart while also restoring joy.

🌷 Future Goal:

“My main goal is continuing to seek God in every situation. I’m also hoping to live at Arms of Hope next and be able to further my education.”

Aleena’s heart is focused on faithfulness and forward movement. Her desire to seek God in all things while building stability for herself and her child is a powerful reflection of perseverance and hope for the future.

Aleena, we are so proud of you. Your strength as a mother, your willingness to grow, and your commitment to God are shaping a beautiful future for you and your son.

Join us in congratulating Aleena as she graduates this Sunday! 🎉
