Today we celebrate and honor Brittany on her one-year anniversary with Mercy Gate. ❤️

Brittany first came to us in December 2022. Her journey looked different then, and after a short time she returned to New Mexico. During that season she endured even more trauma that ultimately led to an overdose 💔 Doctors did not think she would make it. But God had another story to write😭

Her mom, Karrie, who is also with us now —knew exactly who to call. We stood with Brittany, we prayed🙏, we believed✝️, and we contended for healing ❤️‍🩹.

When Brittany came back, she arrived on a walker. There were countless specialty appointments, rehabilitation sessions, and difficult days. But today, what we see can ONLY be explained by the GOODNESS and faithfulness of God. The Lord did what ONLY He could do❤️‍🔥

Today Brittany is not only 100% healed physically, but she is 100% Jesus’. She carries a pure and genuine heart 💕and has such a beautiful sensitivity to the Holy Spirit.

This year has been full of victories🙌 Brittany has experienced physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. She has been blessed with a vehicle, completed CWJC and GED testing, and she continues to move forward with strength and purpose🙏

But one of the greatest celebrations of all… her beautiful children will be reunified with her on July 10th. What a testimony of restoration and redemption.

As Brittany prepares to transition into Enhanced Horizons and continue her journey toward full independence, we celebrate everything God has done and everything He is still doing.

Brittany may not have been ready the first time, but when she hit rock bottom, she knew where home was.

Her life is a miracle😭

This is what we do. We love. We pray. We stand. And we always leave room for people to know that no matter where life takes them, this will always be home🙌

This week at our Journey Program in Bandera, Deanna Eixman Art talked about symbols and the meaning they carry. Symbols can represent so many things — seasons, identity, strength, growth, and even the ways God is moving in our lives🙌

Deanna shared about how life comes in seasons, and sometimes God gives us a picture, a symbol, or something meaningful that reflects where we are in our journey with Him🙏

Together they prayed and asked the Lord to reveal a symbol that represented how He sees each of the ladies and where they are in this current season of life❤️‍🔥

What followed was beautiful💕

The ladies began recognizing symbols that reflected their strength, their identity, their growth, and where they are in their walk with the Lord. Some represented perseverance, some represented freedom, healing, transformation, or new beginnings. Each one was unique because each story is unique✨

There is something powerful 💪 about seeing yourself through God’s eyes instead of through your past. To witness these women discovering truth about who they are and who God says they are is such a beautiful reminder that He is continually shaping, restoring, and revealing purpose🔥

We are grateful for every step of the journey and every season God walks them through. ❤️

Before the day ends and you close your eyes tonight, take a moment with us to honor our nation's fallen heroes.

True sacrifice reflects the heart of Christ.

Let us live out our faith by cherishing the freedoms they died to protect.

Yesterday at The Haven was such a beautiful day of encountering truth and identity. 💛

The women spent time on an identity scavenger hunt with the Lord — diving into questions and intentionally sitting with Him, allowing His truth to ignite and speak over their hearts.

Then in the afternoon, Deanna Eixman Art led an incredible art project that partnered so powerfully with what God was already doing. The women wrote down the labels, lies, and old identities that have tried to define them. Then they broke the plates and transformed those broken pieces into beautiful masterpieces.

Sound familiar? Because it’s exactly what Jesus does with our pieces. He takes what was shattered, rejected, wounded, and broken and creates beauty where there once was pain. He restores, redeems, and makes all things new.

Something powerful happened. 💥

Today we celebrate Nikki and her one-year milestone with Mercy Gate Ministries 🎉

What a beautiful testimony of God’s faithfulness this year has been. Nikki, we have watched you do the hard work—showing up, growing, healing, and learning to trust God in deeper ways even when it wasn’t easy.

Every prayer, every step forward, and every moment of perseverance has mattered.

There is real growth in you. Growth in your faith, growth in your strength, and growth in the way you hear and follow the Lord.

What once felt heavy is now being carried with greater peace, because God has been shaping you all along the way.

As we celebrate this year, we also speak blessing over your next one. We believe doors are opening ahead of you that only God can open. This week, we are declaring that hearts will be awakened, chains will be broken, and lives will be marked by the power and presence of God.

As we enter this sacred week of Shavuot and Pentecost, we reflect on the beauty of God’s unfolding story. Shavuot, the Feast of Weeks, was a time of thanksgiving and remembrance of God’s faithfulness and provision. Pentecost carried that fulfillment into the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, where hearts were ignited and lives were transformed.

We are believing for fresh fire, deeper surrender, healing where there has been pain, freedom where there has been bo***ge, and encounters with the Holy Spirit that leave hearts forever changed. We believe the Lord is drawing His daughters closer, restoring what has been weary, strengthening what has been weak, and pouring out His Spirit in a fresh way.

We invite you to join us in prayer—not only for the women we serve, but for yourself as well. Make room this week. Ask for more of Him. Seek His presence. Expect Him to move.

Moments like these are especially precious to the women we serve.

So many come carrying heartbreak, disappointment, abandonment, and wounds from seasons where they felt forgotten. They have prayed prayers through tears. They have cried out to God in uncertainty, wondering if He sees them, if He hears them, and if things can truly change.

Then moments like this happen.

And SUDDENLY they are reminded that God still answers prayers. That He still provides. That He still sees every detail. That He is still writing beautiful stories from broken places.

These moments do more than meet a practical need — they heal hearts. They restore hope. They build faith. They remind women that they are loved, valued, chosen, and never abandoned by God.

We rejoice with Jessica today because every blessing is another testimony of God’s faithfulness.
