Introducing the Mercy Gate Family Restoration Program
At Mercy Gate, we believe restoration was never meant to stop with one person.
When a woman begins to heal, grow, and discover who God created her to be, that transformation has the opportunity to reach her children, her relationships, and even generations that haven’t been born yet.
That is the heart behind our new Family Restoration Program.
The Family Restoration Program exists to walk alongside women and their families, whatever family looks like for them, through healing, connection, discipleship, and long-term restoration.
For some women, that may mean rebuilding relationships with their children or navigating the reunification process. For others, it may mean strengthening the relationships they already have, learning healthy parenting skills, creating new patterns within their homes, or receiving support as they navigate motherhood.
And our support doesn’t end when someone graduates from Mercy Gate.
We want to continue walking alongside our alumni as their families grow, including women who become mothers after completing the program. Our hope is to keep them connected to the Mercy Gate community, provide ongoing parenting support and discipleship, and remind them that they still have a village to turn to in every new season of life.
The program is built around five foundational principles: trauma-informed care, grace-centered restoration, a family-systems approach, accountability with compassion, and long-term stability and generational healing.
Ultimately, this program is about more than parenting classes, visitation, or reunification.
It is about discipleship of the family.
It is about recognizing that restoration can ripple outward, into marriages, parenting, children, relationships, homes, and future generations.
We aren’t looking for perfect families. We are committed to walking alongside real families, in all the ways they may look, as God continues writing their story.
Healing women. Strengthening families. Changing generations.
