At HCAF, our commitment to the Texas Arts & Crafts Fair remains as strong as ever. ❤️
While our campus continues recovering from the July 4th flood, we’re working hard behind the scenes to ensure the Fair’s bright future. We may have some timing adjustments ahead of us, but one thing is certain: the Texas Arts & Crafts Fair isn’t going anywhere.
Thank you for your support as we rebuild—we can’t wait to gather with you again in celebration of Texas artists and makers.

It is with heavy heart that we at the Hill Country Arts Foundation have made the decision to cancel the Texas Arts and Crafts Fair for 2025 (Oct 31 – Nov 2, 2025). This is not a decision made lightly, nor without concern for impacts to our artists; but the July 4th floods impacted our campus deeply and we are going be closing our campus soon to begin major construction.

Our deepest hope is to be able to come back strong in 2026, but right now we just don't know what our rebuilding timeline looks like. Rather than getting excited for a 2026 date and having to roll it back, we are going to press pause on TACF, let our campus recover, and do it up right when we are healthy again and can support artists, our community and our patrons fully.

We would like to thank our community for being a part of the Texas Arts and Crafts Fair over the years and for hanging with us thru this time of recovery and transition. Please keep an eye on the Hill Country Arts Foundation, follow our social media, and be on the lookout for rebuilding and plans for the future.

In light of what our community has been thru the past few months, HCAF and the Texas Arts and Crafts Fair are pleased to announce that not only is the Texas Arts and Crafts Fair still set for our original 31 October - 2 November dates, but that the gate fee for our event will be donation only. Bring your family, bring your friends, donate what you can!

We are in deep mourning for the losses experienced by our community, and by know you are all likely aware that our parent organization, the Hill Country Arts Foundation, was deeply and catastrophically impacted by the July 4th flood. We are plotting a path forward for our own recovery, which includes what to do about the Texas Arts and Crafts Fair, and how to keep this event alive while respecting what we have been through the last week and a half.

Some of our artists are in the impact zone, and will likely not be sure about participation until closer to the Fair, and while we usually like to have our applications locked in by now, we have decided to extend our artist application deadline to 1 Oct 2025 for a 31 Oct - 2 Nov Fair. This gives all of our artists, new and old, plenty of time to recover inventory, and determine if participation is realistic.

Our Jury will still meet this week to review new applications that we have already received.

Our new deadlines are as follows:
Jury Start: 07/14/2025
Application Deadline (Required) : 10/01/2025
Invitation & Purchase Deadline: 10/14/2025

Please submit your application or request your form from [email protected] and we would be happy to send it over. Each site has 30/50 and/or 110w power available. Get your application in earliest to secure your favorite spot!
