Spending another summer serving up learning opportunities, hands-on experiences, yummy meals, & community togetherness.

Lunch and learns are geared for ages 2-12 but all are welcome. Guardians are required to stay if under age 12.

These events are free and quick, the perfect outing each week! We cover a variety of topics -- science, art, ag and everything in between!

We will post our lineup/event pages later this week. You won't want to miss it!

School is out for summer! Yayyyyy!!!

We can't wait to share our summer lineup with you, just finalizing one last lunch & learn before we share everything next week.

Open Gym will take place Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 1-4pm. With construction at the high school, the calendar will be tricky this next year so be patient with us and ICSD as we navigate temporary changes.

Back to School Bash (I know, I know, we just got out but we've got things to book) plans are underway.

It's going to be an amazing summer and we hope you'll spend it with us. Stay tuned for dates/times!

ICYF is proud to host the MVP end of year celebration! MVP is a group of juniors and seniors who help freshmen navigate their first year at IHS! It was a beautiful morning spent outside with young leaders.

ICYF is thrilled to have been the sponsor for all 4 celebrations this year! Taylor has the students partake in a team-building activity. This year, they had to put together a puzzle without talking and only using their non-dominant hand. This was a fun way to show the importance of working together and using tools, like our voices.

These students are nominated by teachers and staff for demonstrating excellence in the classroom and leadership in the halls. Congratulations to our recipients and the dedication they show.

This was a bittersweet day as we had ALL TEN of our Ambassadors together, one final time! (No worries, a sappy post with all their future plans will be coming out soon, it isn't goodbye yet!)

Back to School Bash!! I know, I know, school isn't even out yet BUT we have work to do and an awesome event to get planning. What do you want see this year!?

Hosting a neighborhood activity or public event is a great way to build community pride and support our local economy. To help make your event safe and successful, the City of Indianola provides guidelines, applications and resources online.

Key Points to Remember:

1️⃣ Applications must be submitted at least 60 days before your event.
2️⃣ Events on streets or trails require City Council approval unless pre-approved annually.
3️⃣ A detailed event map and insurance certificate are required.
4️⃣ Barricade rentals now include a fee per City Council resolution.
