Route 65 H.O.G Chapter #2254 Our chapter offers fun people, fun rides and fun activities for all HOG members. Its membership consists of Harley-Davidson owners and riders.

The Harley Owners Group (HOG) is a National organization founded and sponsored by the Harley-Davidson Motor Company. The Route 65 HOG Chapter is sponsored by Route 65 Harley-Davidson located in the heart of balloon country. We are a group of Harley enthusiasts, who meet regularly, plan rides and other events.

Thank you to Mike McLaughlin for taking 7 bikes and a support vehicle and 14 people to Albion for a butt break. Thank-you to Vernon Braness for sweeping the entire ride. A big thank you to the R/C Stacey Brown for leading us to lunch in Floyd, Iowa. The food was great and the day was beautiful and only got hot when we stopped. The support vehicle had the sign on top of the car indicating it was a motorcycle support vehicle. Because of that we had a bike rider ask who drove that vehicle then asked her if she would help him get to Vermont! Total miles was 332 round trip.

Thank you to all our Route 65 HOG members that attended our annual hot dog feed. Thank you to Mike McLaughlin for being our
BBQ master, Steve Houg for his fabulous home made ice cream and to everyone that brought their delicious side dishes to share. The weather was perfect, the food was great and camaraderie was outstanding. See you at the next chapter meeting on July 7!

REMEMBER: Our next chapter meeting on June 2 will be a Hot Dog feed at Windflower Park in Norwalk starting at 6PM. Please bring a dish to share and a non-adult beverage of your choice. The dogs, buns, chips and condiments will all be provided courtesy of your officers. We'll even do the cooking! Ole will be attending and you will have an opportunity to turn in your mileage that evening as well. Great time to get your first or second reading recorded as we are striving to get as many members as we can to get mileage turned in. If you have any questions, please let your Director, Jan Grandstaff know at 515-490-8042. See you there!
