Trails, parks, public art, and community spaces across Indiana are growing stronger.

Greenways Foundation is proud to announce the 2025 disbursement of grants from the Greenways Foundation grant fund last year funding supported projects that expanded across access to trails, enhanced public spaces, connected communities, and improved quality of life throughout our state.

Most importantly these grants are made possible by Indiana motorists who choose the Greenways Foundation “I support trails” license plate. Every plate on the road helps generate funding that is reinvested directly into local projects, making Indiana healthier more connected and more vibrant to every Greenways Foundation license plate holder: thank you.

Congratulations to this year's Outstanding Trails Advocate, Brad Beaubien!

Brad’s leadership has helped shape trails as essential infrastructure across Central Indiana, connecting communities, supporting local economies, and improving quality of life. From embedding trail expansion into Indianapolis’ Plan 2020 to leading the nearly 800-mile Greater Indy Trailways network, his impact is both visionary and tangible.

And Brad didn’t just lead, he put in the work. Dedicating over 140 hours to mapping routes and engaging over 1,100 community members to ensure the system reflects real user needs.

Brad’s ability to bring partners together and move big ideas forward makes him truly deserving of this recognition.
