NJTL of Indianapolis NJTL of Indianapolis is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers youth tennis and education programs for children 5-18.

NJTL of Indianapolis offers youth tennis programs throughout the year for children and teens, regardless of family income levels. Programs are open to everyone who wants to play and learn. NJTL will never turn a child away due to financial circumstances. NJTL strives to keep children healthy and active. The program serves as a foundation from which to build self-esteem, encourage youth interest in

physical activity and foster a lifelong love of the sport of tennis. NJTL of Indianapolis:

- Provides various educational opportunities through reading programs and contests.
- Offers assistance in entering the national Arthur Ashe Essay Contest.
- Provides a healthy lifestyle curriculum through partnership with Jump IN for Healthy Kids.
- Encourages tennis students to participate in our “Love to Read” program, a summer reading contest.
- Teaches life skills such as being a team player, embracing fitness, and resolving conflict. NJTL of Indianapolis serves more than 1,000 children in Marion County every year by offering low-cost tennis lessons at more than 15 local parks, schools, and racquet clubs. Since its inception NJTL has offered tennis instruction to more than 46,000 children. It costs NJTL of Indianapolis approximately $150 for each student enrolled in our tennis programs. However, many of these participants pay $15 or less because of funding through foundations, corporations and individual donors. Looking for a fun, active, and affordable way to keep your child engaged this summer?

NJTL of Indianapolis, now in its 52nd year, is offering summer tennis programs at 16 locations all around the Indy area — so there’s a good chance we’re close to your neighborhood!

✅ Open to kids (5-18) of all skill levels, whether they’ve never picked up a racquet or are on their middle school/high school team
✅ A great way to build confidence, coordination, and friendships
✅ Low-cost programs with scholarships available for qualifying families
✅ Kids learn the fundamentals of tennis while having fun, staying active, and progressing on the court

NJTL of Indianapolis serves more than 1,350 children in Marion County every year by offering low-cost tennis lessons at more than 15 local parks, schools, and racquet clubs. Since its inception NJTL has offered tennis instruction to more than 46,000 children. It costs NJTL of Indianapolis approximately $140 for each student enrolled in our tennis programs. However, nearly half of these participants pay $15 or less because of funding through foundations, corporations and individual donors.
