Our original program, Pathway-I is a 21-bed supportive housing program and serves as the pointy of entry for participants arriving from the streets and shelters. Services include mental health and addiction support, individual and group therapy, case management, goal planning, employment referral assistance, daily living skills, relapse prevention, aftercare, and housing placement. Trained staff and former program graduates serving as “peer support specialists” give participants the skills and support required to live a healthy independent life. Pathway-I operates at maximum capacity with a waiting list for admission. In November of 2009, Pathway acquired a sixth facility to create 20 new units of affordable permanent housing for formerly homeless individuals and families. The project is in the initial stages of development and we are working to secure funds needed to rehabilitate the property. We hope to complete the renovation during 2010 and begin occupancy the latter part of 2011. This will increase Pathway' capacity to almost 100 homeless individuals and families.
