As Dr. Virginia Caine told us at the Indiana AIDS Walk, there are still up to 250 new cases of HIV in Marion County every year. And the infection can lie dormant for years. That’s why testing is so important.

For decades, being gay and living with HIV were tied to heavy stigma, but today proves how far we've come and how strong we are when we eliminate fear together.

Once again, we want to thank everyone for coming out to support the Indiana AIDS Walk.

Thanks to your donations and fundraising, we have been able to raise over $120K for the Direct Emergency Financial Assistance (DEFA) funds (final donation number still to come!). This program provides essential emergency financial support to people living with HIV for housing, nutrition, transportation, and medical assistance.

While the event is over, enacting real change in our communities is year-round. Whether you feel inclined to make a one-time contribution or join our monthly giving program, we appreciate any support you're willing to give.
