If you've been to the Rathskeller Biergarten in the past 50 years, you've seen the massive rolling metal gate that marks the entrance. It's become clear over the years: that gate needs replaced.

We're working with local designers, architects, and fabricators to update the Biergarten entrance to be a functional, beautiful, welcoming fixture for years to come.

CALL FOR ARTISTS

Art Saves Lives is a community art show exploring themes of mental health, su***de prevention & survivorship, and the journeys we take towards hope.

American Foundation for Su***de Prevention- Indiana Chapter and the Athenaeum Foundation are proud to partner for this show, now in its third year. Accepted works will be displayed through the month of August in the Athenaeum’s Christel DeHaan ArtSpace.

Etch your name into Indy history!

After over 50 years, the Rathskeller Biergarten gate must be replaced. Donors who support this project at the $1,000 level or above will have their name etched into permanent fixtures in the Biergarten, visible for generations to come.

To recognize varying levels of support, donor names will be displayed on plaques of sizes reflecting each donor’s level of support.
