“It’s our responsibility to give back to the community and those around us.”

For more than 15 years, Summers Plumbing, Heating & Cooling has lived out that commitment through their partnership with Wheeler Mission.

Hear how one company’s decision to show up year after year has engaged employees, inspired customers, and helped bring hope to neighbors experiencing homelessness.

The simplest gifts often meet the biggest needs. đź’™

This month, we're seeking donations of bottled water, diapers, pull-ups, men's underwear, and men's white T-shirts to help care for the guests we serve each day.

Your generosity helps provide both immediate relief and lasting hope for individuals and families working toward a brighter future!

For 133 years, Wheeler Mission has opened its doors to those seeking help.

A hot meal. A safe place to stay. A path toward recovery. A chance for a brighter future.
Today, we celebrate not just our history, but the countless stories of hope and transformation that have been written along the way.

Thank you for helping us continue this mission. đź’™

Today we’re celebrating 133 years of Wheeler Mission! 🎉

For more than a century, God has used this ministry to bring help, hope, and healing to neighbors experiencing homelessness and hardship across Indiana. What started as a shelter in 1893 has grown into so much more—walking alongside men, women, and children through recovery, supportive housing, workforce development, and life-changing programs. 💙
As we celebrate all that has been accomplished, we’re even more excited for what God has in store for the future.
Thank you for being part of 133 years of life transformation. Here’s to the next chapter! 🙌

Transformation takes time.
For many guests, the journey from crisis to stability involves months of recovery, growth, and healing. Through customized support and housing pathways like Cornerstone Living, individuals are equipped to overcome barriers and build a brighter future.

At Wheeler Mission, we're committed to walking alongside people every step of the way. đź’™

"Freely you have received; freely give." — Matthew 10:8

Every blessing we receive is an opportunity to bless someone else.
Whether through kindness, encouragement, service, or generosity, God uses ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary things. May we be willing vessels of His love today.
Amen.

This World Homeless Day, we're reminded that homelessness is about more than a lack of housing.

That's why Wheeler Mission is more than a shelter.

While a meal, a safe bed, and clean clothing are often where the journey begins, true life transformation happens when individuals are given the opportunity to heal from trauma, overcome addiction, rebuild relationships, discover purpose, and find lasting stability.

Every day, we walk alongside men, women, and children as they take steps toward a brighter future.
Because homelessness is not the end of someone's story. And at Wheeler Mission, we're committed to helping write the next chapter. đź’™
