Today we celebrate the American flag — a symbol of unity, freedom, and the many people and communities that make our country strong. Flag Day is also a great opportunity for families to talk with children about history, service, and civic pride.

Whether you’re attending a community event, displaying your flag at home, or simply spending time together, we hope your family has a safe and meaningful Flag Day.

Your child may not use ChatGPT—but they're still growing up with AI.

From social media to search engines, AI is already influencing the world our kids experience every day. This short article offers important insights for parents and caregivers navigating an AI-powered future.

Worth the read.

A lot of parents are starting to ask, “Does my child use ChatGPT?”

That is a good question, but I’m not sure it is the only question anymore.

AI is starting to show up inside the apps, games, school tools, search engines, devices, and platforms kids already use. That means a child may honestly say, “No, I don’t use AI,” while still growing up surrounded by it.

It reminds me a little of when Amazon Alexa first came into homes. It felt fun and simple on the surface, but most of us did not really understand what was happening underneath.

In this week’s blog, I wrote about why parents may need to shift the question and shared 5 things we can do to help kids notice when AI is working behind the scenes.
