We are happy to welcome our new director of Evergreen ARIN After School Clubs in Indiana Area School Districts, Ms. Stormie Cribbs! If you have general questions about the club, she's your gal! Here is a little about Stormie: Evergreen Afterschool Club has been a huge part of my life for nearly five years, and I have had the privilege of working as a Lead Staff member at Ben Franklin. During that time, I built meaningful relationships with our students, families, and staff, and I discovered just how much I love helping children learn, grow, and gain confidence in themselves.
I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education at WGU and am currently working toward my master's degree in education with a concentration in Special Education. While earning my degrees, I realized that my time with Evergreen truly reignited my passion for teaching. Watching students learn through creativity, play, and hands-on experiences reminded me why I chose a career in education in the first place. I believe every child deserves a safe, supportive environment where they feel encouraged to explore their interests, build friendships, and be themselves.
As Project Director, I am excited to continue creating a fun, welcoming, and engaging program where every child feels valued and supported. I look forward to working alongside our amazing staff and partnering with families to make Evergreen a place where students are excited to come each day. I feel incredibly grateful to be part of the Evergreen community, and I can't wait to continue growing with the program and the wonderful families we serve.” Contact information: Stormie Cribbs, 412-289-4346, [email protected]
