Join us for Cape Abilities 2026 Annual Meeting on Thursday, October 8th, at the Lyndon Center in Hyannis!

Come together with staff, families, friends, and members of our community for a relaxed evening as we reflect on the past year, and celebrate highlights.

Guests will enjoy light refreshments, have the opportunity to connect, and get a glimpse inside some of Cape Abilities day program spaces where people build skills, form friendships, and discover new opportunities.

A huge thank you to our amazing Team Cape Abilities Second Summer Cycle riders! 🚴💙

While the weather didn’t cooperate with us the day of the race, your enthusiasm and support never wavered. After weeks of fundraising, training, and raising awareness for Cape Abilities, many of our riders still found ways to get out and complete rides of their own.

We are so grateful for your dedication to Cape Abilities and for supporting our mission.

It’s Direct Support Professionals Week! 💙

This week, we are proud to celebrate the incredible Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) who are at the heart of Cape Abilities.

Every day, our DSPs bring compassion, dedication, encouragement, and advocacy to their work. They help the people we support build skills, pursue their goals, strengthen their independence, and create meaningful connections.

Their impact reaches far beyond any one moment or program, and we are incredibly grateful for the difference they make each and every day.

This recognition belongs to the entire Cape Abilities community — the people we support, our dedicated staff and volunteers, families, donors, community partners, and everyone who believes in our mission.

Every day, Cape Abilities works to create opportunities for people we support to live, work, grow, and connect throughout Cape Cod. From meaningful employment and vocational training to day and residential programs, community experiences, and so much more, our work is made possible by a community that believes everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive.

Earlier this week, we had the pleasure of celebrating and thanking our incredible Cape Abilities volunteers!

More than 120 volunteers generously give their time across Cape Abilities, supporting a variety of programs and opportunities at Cape Abilities Farm, Cape Abilities Thrift, our Day and Residential Programs, and beyond.

We are so grateful for the time, energy, and dedication our volunteers bring to Cape Abilities and the meaningful impact they make throughout our organization and community. 💙

Second Summer Cycle is right around the corner on Sunday, September 13th! 🚴💙

For Team Cape Abilities rider Sharon, this ride is personal. Her sister, Meg, is part of Cape Abilities Day Programs, where she has found a place to truly thrive.

As Sharon prepares to ride in Second Summer Cycle, she has been working hard to raise funds for Team Cape Abilities while sharing her family’s connection to our mission and the difference Cape Abilities has made in Meg’s life.

We are incredibly grateful to Sharon for sharing their story and for putting her enthusiasm and dedication behind every mile. Stories like Sharon and Meg’s are a wonderful reminder of the opportunities, connections, and sense of belonging our community helps make possible every day.

A huge congratulations and thank you to our incredible Team Cape Abilities runners who completed the 54th Annual ASICS Falmouth Road Race yesterday! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️💙

We are so grateful to each of our runners for successfully completing the 7-mile course while proudly representing Cape Abilities and fundraising over $34,000.

Thank you for your dedication, enthusiasm, and for making every mile count.

Falmouth Road Race weekend is here, and Team Cape Abilities is ready to run! 🏃‍♀️💙

This Sunday, mother-daughter duo Maureen and Ceara “Keeks” Bowman will take on the 7-mile course together as members of Team Cape Abilities!

Both Maureen and Keeks have run in support of Cape Abilities before, and we are so grateful to have them back again this year.
