Today Nrepash and his assistants Kingston and Rawdeep from Trinity High School did a presentation on CPR for our students and mentors at MVL! What a valuable skill they will have from these amazing teens sharing their experience!

This is only one of the new beginnings. The Village Library began in the summer outside Bellaire Elementary neighborhood. I love that Taylor is wearing her youth group tshirt that says “I’m M. A. D.” This logo was for Make A Difference. The park program moved to a new beginning at Mission Central. A new beginning into the HUB reinventing a new chapter as MY Village Library serving HEBISD students this summer and gearing up to help students IN school during the day and afterschool. Dr. Pam Frable stopped by for show ‘n tell. Her amazing Tcu Nursing students in public health put together an amazing program on the importance of sleep for children, students and adults. Watch for our fall offerings of My Village Library U. Thank you for helping us all to be lifelong learners.

HEB READS was an awesome event. We met a lot of kids, parents and teachers and had a great time.
