Huntingdon Regional Fire & Rescue would like to extend our sincere congratulations to all of the lucky ticket holders who won prizes through the HRFR-65 Car Extravaganza!

Congratulations to all of our $1,000 prize winners, and a very special congratulations to our Grand Prize Winner, who took home the vehicle of her choice from Stuckey Automotive!

Porch Fire in the 65-5 Box

Just before 7pm Sunday evening Huntingdon struck the 65-5 box for a fire on the front porch on William Smith St (Huntingdon Boro). Chief 65, TRK65, E65-1, and E65-2 immediately responded. Chief 65 arrived with smoke showing and a neighbor and ambulance 701 extinguishing the fire utilizing dry chem extinguishers. 65 engine crews pulled a line and quickly knocked down the remaining fire. The truck crew checked for extension in the building. R10 arrived and staged for a minute before being released. Also responding were SU65 and SQ65 along with mutual aid from companies 10, 20, 1, 19, & 7.
