🌿 Happy Indigenous Peoples’ Day! 🌎

Today, we recognize and honor the rich histories, cultures, traditions, and lasting contributions of Indigenous peoples. It’s a time to reflect, learn, and celebrate the Indigenous communities whose heritage continues to shape our nation.

Please note that the Huntingdon County Chamber of Commerce office will be closed on Monday, October 12, in observance of Indigenous Peoples’ Day.

We wish everyone a meaningful and reflective holiday!

✨ ’Twas the night before the Awards Gala… ✨

And all through the Chamber, not a creature was still…
Because we’ve been setting up ALL. THE. THINGS. 😂🎉

The tables are dressed, the centerpieces are coming together, the awards are ready, and things are almost looking gala-ready! 🥂✨

Tomorrow night, we’ll celebrate our 25th Annual Awards Gala and recognize some pretty incredible people, businesses, and organizations that make Huntingdon County such a special place to live, work, and grow. ❤️🏆

The chairs are arranged…
The tables are set…
The awards are polished…
And yes, we’ve probably moved a table approximately 47 times to get everything just right. 😂

🏛️ A First for Us at Hunt Tower! 🎉

Today was a pretty special day—we held our Board of Directors meeting at our office for the very first time! ❤️

Over the past several months, we’ve been putting a tremendous amount of time, energy, and love into an extensive cleanup and organization project throughout our office, especially the upstairs of Hunt Tower. One of the most exciting milestones has been receiving clearance to safely welcome people into this incredible space.

And honestly… we couldn’t be more proud. 🥹

Hunt Tower is so much more than an office—it’s a piece of our community’s history, and we’ve been incredibly excited to open it up and share more of it with the people who call Huntingdon County home.

Today was even more special because we were thrilled to welcome Jess Weir, who joined us to give a presentation on the exciting Building Flag Pole Hill project. We’re so excited to learn more about this project and the vision behind it, and we can’t wait to share more information with our community in the coming weeks and months. There’s some exciting work ahead, and we’re looking forward to bringing you along for the journey! 👀

Being able to gather our Board together in person, upstairs at Hunt Tower, was such a refreshing and meaningful moment. It was also a wonderful opportunity to showcase just how much progress has been made—and how much more there is to come!

A huge THANK YOU to our Board members for joining us, embracing the still-slightly-limited space, and sharing in the immense pride we have for this historic building. Your support and willingness to be part of this journey means so much to us!

We’re not done yet! 💪 We’ll continue cleaning, organizing, and bringing new life to the upstairs space, and we can’t wait for the day when we can welcome our Board back with even more room to gather, connect, and enjoy this beautiful piece of Huntingdon history.

One cleanup project at a time, we’re opening the doors to Hunt Tower—and we’re so excited to share the journey with you! 🏛️❤️

And today was just another reminder of what happens when we come together, dream big, and invest in our community. There’s so much to look forward to! ✨

🏛️ OCTOBER IS LOCAL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE MONTH IN PENNSYLVANIA! 🎉

We are incredibly proud to celebrate this special recognition—and even more proud of the important work local Chambers of Commerce do every day for the businesses and communities they serve.

📜 Governor Josh Shapiro has officially proclaimed October 2026 as Local Chamber of Commerce Month in Pennsylvania!

But what does that really mean?

It means recognizing the people, businesses, partnerships, and communities that make our local economy strong. 💙
