TEMPORARY OFFICE CLOSURE

Our renovation project is well underway, and as you can see from these photos, things are looking a little different around here! With construction in full swing, HCC staff will be working remotely for the next few days.

If you need to reach the Center, please contact us by email at [email protected].

We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we work through the dust, noise, and temporary disruptions that come with a project of this size.

We’re excited to see these improvements come together and can’t wait to welcome everyone back to our refreshed spaces!

Our Huntingdon Community Center Annual Fund Drive is underway! Help support the programs, facilities, and opportunities that strengthen our community.

Last year, we celebrated 100 years of serving Huntingdon County. Now, we’re building the future together.

Your generosity made a difference this past year:

• 4,926 children, teens, adults, and seniors used our programs and facilities.

• 1,407+ participants took part in sports, recreation, and educational programs.

• 64 local children received scholarships so they could participate regardless of financial circumstances.

HCC is more than programs and buildings—it’s a place where friendships grow, confidence builds, memories are made, and everyone can feel a sense of belonging.

Every gift, no matter the size, helps us continue this mission. If you’ve already donated, THANK YOU! If you haven’t, please consider investing in HCC’s future today.

Together, we can ensure HCC continues to inspire, serve, and strengthen our community for generations to come!

Would you be open to converting your generous one-time gift of into a recurring monthly contribution? Regular support enables us to better focus on our mission.

🚧 HCC IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION! 🚧

Exciting improvements are getting underway at the Huntingdon Community Center! With our renovation project beginning, there will be some temporary changes to activities and rentals at our 5th Street location.

Beginning Monday, October 12, the gymnasium will be closed through the end of October while the floor is completely sanded, relined, and refinished.

🏓 PICKLEBALL

The last pickleball session before renovations begin will be Sunday, October 11.

🏀 OPEN GYM

The last open gym session before renovations begin will be Thursday, October 8.

🎉 PARTY RENTALS

Party rentals will be on pause until approximately mid-November while renovations are completed throughout the facility.

Parties already scheduled for this weekend will NOT be affected.

🔨 WHAT’S HAPPENING AT HCC?

In addition to refinishing the gymnasium floor, new flooring is being installed throughout much of the facility, including the kitchen, Rotary Room, downstairs hallway, stairs, and entryway.

We know these temporary closures may be inconvenient, and we appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while the work is underway. These are exciting improvements for HCC, and we can’t wait for our community to see the finished spaces! 💙

Thank you to the Huntingdon Rotary Club for helping make an important improvement to the Huntingdon Community Center possible!

New acoustic sound panels have been installed in our gymnasium to help reduce noise and improve the overall sound quality of the space. With so many programs, practices, events, and community activities taking place in our gym, these panels are a wonderful addition that will benefit everyone who uses the facility.

This project was made possible through the generous support of the Huntingdon Rotary Club. We are incredibly grateful for their continued commitment to our community and their support of HCC.

Thank you, Huntingdon Rotary Club, for investing in our facility and helping us continue to improve the spaces that serve our community!

And this is just one of many exciting projects happening at HCC! We have more improvements on the way, so stay tuned to our page for information about our upcoming renovation project. We’re excited to share what’s next!
