Swigart Museum This is the oldest Antique Automobile Museum in the country! Home to the 1947 Tucker Prototype "Tin Goose" and 1948 Tucker #1013 The William E. Swigart, Jr.

Antique Automobile Museum, located in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit museum dedicated to the preservation of American automobile history. The collections began as a private passion of founder W. Emmert Swigart in about 1920. The current museum opened in 1957. The museum's collection contain about 150 cars, of which 30 to 35 are on display at the museum at one time. One-of-a-ki

nd automobiles include a 1936 Duesenberg 12 cylinder Gentlemen's Speedster, a 1920 Carroll, and a 1916 Scripps-Booth. The Swigart Museum is the only automobile museum in the country where visitors can see two Tuckers side-by-side, the 1947 "Tin Goose" Prototype and #1013. Along with automobiles, the museum's other collections including automotive artwork, bicycles, antique toys, vintage clothing, spittoons, license plates, radiator caps, automobile lights and horns, automobilia and other related items. The museum is open daily from Memorial Day weekend through the end of October, and hosts many car-related events. The museum is a member of the National Association of Automobile Museums and the American Association of Museums.

🚗 Join us this morning at the Tuesday Morning Wake Up Reception at the Raystown Lake Region Visitor Center!

🎉 Wake Up Receptions will be held every Tuesday from June 16 through August 11, 2026, from 9:30am to 10:30am at the Raystown Lake Visitor Center. Each week will feature a different theme, making every session a unique opportunity to discover something new about our community.

🍪 Food is available on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last.

🎁 Door prizes will be drawn at 10:30am.

The Swigart Antique Auto Museum will be holding our 2026 Car Show on Saturday July 18th at the museum. It is the museum's largest fundraiser and is always a very anticipated event. We as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit rely on donations and support from the community to keep the museum open, maintain the collection and educate the public on automotive history.

During the event, our best fundraiser is selling raffle tickets. Businesses, organizations and individuals have been extremely kind to us with a variety of prizes such as cash, gift cards, gift certificates, merchandise, tickets and products. A huge reason the raffle has been such a success is because of the donation we received from supporters like you!

If you would like to be a part of our raffle or contribute a prize we will have your name listed with your contribution, listed on a sign thanking sponsors and contributors, a shout out on our social media, in our museum newsletter and on our website.

If you would like to be a Sponsor, here are the levels, each level benefit listed below.

Sponsors are also welcome to contribute a raffle item or prize.

This morning marked the first Wake Up Reception of the season at the Raystown Lake Region Visitor Center, with the kickoff theme celebrating America250! 🇺🇸

Hosted by the Huntingdon County Visitors Bureau, these free public receptions provide a wonderful opportunity to connect with local businesses, attractions, organizations, and community partners while learning about upcoming events, activities, and experiences throughout Huntingdon County! 🤩
