Old Faithful Rescue and Sanctuary Our mission at Old Faithful Rescue and Sanctuary is to Rescue horses out of the slaughter pipeline. We are a 501C3 Non-profit Organization.

We rehabilitate them, rehome or keep them here in our Sanctuary as permanent residents.

My birthday is on Saturday, and I'm having a small birthday fundraiser for the horses to celebrate. I took this picture with Ranger. When you take a selfie with your big, goofy gelding and realize you guys kind of look alike, at the very least your expressions are identical, it's time to stop taking selfies with the horses haha 😄 I'd be so grateful if you can donate, every little bit helps! I decided that I was going to get through all of the work tonight, then I was definitely going to take a ride I chose Angus. He behaved tonight and I had a really nice ride ❤️

Did you ever crinkle a snack bag or even Heaven Forbid say the 'T' word (Treat) around a dog or cat? Everyone comes running. Well trust me, horses are the exact same way. I had simply picked up a bag of animal crackers and they all raced to their door. I especially like the crazed look in Caesar's eyes (first horse on the left) 😀 😀😃

I took this pic of Ranger, looked at it and called the vet to ask about him. Ranger has navicular, worse in his right front leg. But this pic looks like he is standing almost as if he has laminitis. She looked at him, no sign of that, she called it a navicular rollback. As in, pain in the front legs, so they rely heavily on the hind legs to turn around in a small space. I'm very glad! But I am going to start hom on some pain meds for a few days 😞

Chief, who only has a few teeth, and got very skinny last winter. He's managed to put some decent weight back on over the summer, but I still wish it were more. Either way, he has retained his 'Chief attitude'. Check out the Side Eye I'm getting in the second picture because i dared bother him during dinner 😀
