In the US 23%-29% of people can expect a stroke sometime in their lives, meaning 1 in 4 people will be hit by a stroke. High blood pressure is the leading cause of stroke. We were hoping to launch the foundation this month, since May is National Stroke Awareness Month. Unfortunately, the company that had agreed to do the work for the tax write-off and later monetary rewards has left us high and dry. Is there anybody out there who would be willing to design a website for this worthy cause for a tax write off and the promise of payment once donations begin to come in?
This Foundation was formed by my husband and I after he suffered a debilitating massive stroke in September of 2017. The foundation is affiliated with Penn State Milton S Hershey Medical Center and our medical adviser on the board is Dr. Raymond Reichwein a Penn State neurologist.
This would be an amazing opportunity for a startup to get their name out there. There will be a direct link on the Penn State Stroke Program website to the foundation. We have already received the approval for the web designer to endorse their product on this site.
Please message me with additional questions.

Welcome to our startup nonprofit, The Stroke Survivors Foundation.
My husband, Jeffrey suffered a massive stroke in September 2017, at the young age of 55 and our life was forever changed.
We were terrified of what our future would hold and even though we were lucky enough to have the support of our five children, both sets of parents, friends and other family members, we felt afraid, alone and helpless. Over these past three and a half years we have learned so much and have created a new life for ourselves.
Our hope is that we, together with our volunteers, become a resource of information and fellowship for families who have had similar experiences. As we grow and receive donations, it is our goal to grant wishes to stroke survivors to help bring healing, hope and joy back into their lives.
