🎮 Today, we're celebrating The Golden Gamers!

In their 11th year supporting Children's Miracle Network Extra Life, this dedicated group recently raised $7,900 through 25 hours of video games, board games, and RPGs hosted at Uplink Studios and online. Their lifetime fundraising total now EXCEEDS $120,000! We're so grateful to this group of amazing gamers who continue to make a huge impact on children and families at Penn State Health Golisano Children's Hospital.

💙 This NICU Awareness Month, we’re working to raise $55,000 to support families when every second matters.

Joella’s life began with an emergency. Born at 35 weeks, she was rushed by ambulance to Penn State Health Golisano Children's Hospital, where doctors diagnosed her with a rare condition affecting multiple organ systems.

During her first six months, Joella underwent 15 surgeries, including open-heart surgery, and needed ECMO to give her heart and lungs time to heal.

Today, she continues her journey with physical therapy and cardiology visits. Donor support has been there every step of the way—from the pediatric ambulance that transported her safely to the lifesaving ECMO machine and music therapy that helped ease her fear and stress.

💙 Meet Ayden—then and now.

Ayden arrived much earlier and much smaller than expected, weighing just 2 pounds, 7 ounces after an emergency C-section. He spent eight weeks in the NICU at Penn State Health Golisano Children's Hospital, where donor support helped provide the equipment and family assistance his parents needed, including gas cards so his dad could make the trip to Hershey while continuing to work.

Today, Ayden is happy and growing strong. 💙

Behind every incubator is a baby fighting to grow stronger and a family holding on to hope.

At Penn State Health Golisano Children's Hospital, our Level IV NICU provides advanced care for the region’s most fragile newborns. Your support helps provide lifesaving equipment and the resources families need to stay close, informed, and supported.

From walks down the hallway after surgery to snuggles in hospital beds, our facility dogs and their Child Life team handlers bring comfort and encouragement to patients, families, and care teams throughout the hospital.

Visitors look forward to seeing these furry friends, and it’s easy to see why! Whether they’re offering a sweet nuzzle or a little extra motivation, our facility dogs support emotional well-being and healing in so many ways.
