Charlie’s journey began before he was even born, when scans revealed he would need specialized medical care. Since then, he has faced surgeries, scoliosis, routine scans, and ongoing treatment with incredible strength and resilience.

Through every challenge, Children's Miracle Network donor support has helped surround Charlie and his family with comfort and care, from music and art therapy during recovery to patient assistance support during unexpected hospital stays at Penn State Health Golisano Children's Hospital.

Today, Charlie is a fun, energetic little boy who loves karate and baseball. Because of supporters like you, children like Charlie receive more than life-saving care. They receive hope, healing, and the gift of growing up.

Every time you round up at Walmart and Sam's Club this month, you're helping local children receive the care they need at Penn State Health Golisano Children's Hospital.

Stop by and round up your in-store purchases to the nearest dollar all month. Donations help fund programs and services that support things like art therapy, music therapy, and the Meal-a-Day Program that provides meals for parents staying by their child's bedside.

Some of our Children's Miracle Network Miracle Kids stopped by to thank the Walmart teams for their support and join in the fun. Their smiles are a reminder of the lives being changed through the generosity of our community!

Our Child Life team is running low on some of the items kids use most, including crayons, coloring books, Play-Doh, markers, and colored pencils. These simple supplies provide comfort, distraction, and opportunities for therapeutic play during a hospital visit.

From the NICU to the pitcher's mound. ⚾

Born at just 25 weeks, Braxton spent four months in the NICU fighting to grow stronger each day. Recently, he returned to the spotlight as the Lancaster Stormers Stormer of the Day, throwing out the first pitch on behalf of Penn State Health Golisano Children's Hospital and Children's Miracle Network.

Today, Braxton is a baseball fan and a self-proclaimed mac & cheese enthusiast!

This is the gift of growing up and a reminder of what is possible when children receive the specialized care they need and the support of a community that believes in them. Way to go, Braxton!
