This week, our friends in Child Life and the Facility Dog Program celebrated a major milestone: 10 years of bringing comfort and joy to Penn State Health Golisano Children's Hospital.

These incredible pups and the dedicated handlers who care for them are beloved by patients, families, and visitors. They bring warmth, smiles, and plenty of cuddles to hospital days that can feel overwhelming.

💙 Did you know? Time with a facility dog can help reduce stress and anxiety, encourage connection, and make the hospital experience feel a little more like home.

Children's Miracle Network Extra Life and Harrisburg University are bringing gaming to the big screen at FPX MovieLab this November to support kids and families at Penn State Health Golisano Children's Hospital.

Donor support makes vital research possible through Children's Miracle Network at Penn State Health Golisano Children's Hospital. Researchers are studying the fear, anxiety, and emotional distress children and teens may experience during eating disorder treatment, including weight restoration.

Nathan Grumbine Photography and Kelly Knaub Photography have teamed up to offer Fall Mini Sessions at Fort Hunter in Harrisburg:

- Sunday, October 11 | 12–6 p.m.
- Sunday, November 8 | 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
- Rain date: October 24

Each 20-minute session includes 10 edited digital images of your choice with print rights. The minimum donation is $80 (a $150 value)!

Today, employees at The Hershey Company are gaming for a good, raising money to support patients and families at Penn State Health Golisano Children's Hospital. It’s an awesome way to give back, build community, and make a difference while having fun!

We’re incredibly grateful for community partners like The Hershey Company that are committed to a healthy community and to helping children and families. Harper’s life changed when a lawn mower accident resulted in a partial foot and heel amputation. She was rushed to Penn State Health Golisano Children's Hospital, where she underwent multiple surgeries.

“Harper has nothing but the best memories of the hospital,” says her mom. “Not only did her nurses and the Child Life team help her bedazzle the wagon that pulled her around the hospital, but art therapy brought a great sense of normalcy to this creative kid.”

Today, Harper loves dancing and dolphins. She hasn’t let her accident hold her back. She's full of humor, courage and an incredible zest for life.

Children's Miracle Network donor support helps make healing moments like these possible for children and families facing the unimaginable. Thank you for helping bring hope to patients like Harper. 💙
