Let’s be real. The best part of buying an RV isn’t just the adventures you take, it’s making the rig your own.

There are plenty of easy ways to get creative with your home on wheels. To make it unique to you, consider:

🎨 Painting the walls (or use renter-friendly wallpaper)
💡 Replacing primary lighting with re-chargeable or battery operated options
🛋️ Covering couch and chair cushions
🖼️ Creating a gallery wall (or multiple) using removable hanging strips
🔲 Adding sticky tiles or contact paper to your kitchen counter and/or stove backsplash

Pro tip: Noodle-fy your RV.👇

Simply cut pool noodles to the proper width of your storage areas (cabinets, refrigerator, etc.) Stick them in front of and behind your items. Acting as a bumper, the noodles keep them from jostling around.

Warm weather is here, and so are ticks! 🪲

Pennsylvania often ranks in the top 10 states in the country for Lyme disease. And, while most cases can be treated, if left untreated, it can spread to joints, the heart and the nervous system.

Want to prevent Lyme disease at the source? The Pennsylvania Department of Health (DOH) recommends these tactics:

1️⃣ Cover exposed skin
2️⃣ Use an EPA-approved bug spray
3️⃣ Treat your clothing and gear with permethrin before heading outside
4️⃣ Check yourself and remove any ticks you see immediately after returning
5️⃣ Put your clothes in the dryer on high heat to kill any ticks that may remain

You may have heard of the 3-3-3 rule, but what about the law of 20%?

The 20% rule helps you stay flexible and safe on the road. It means on an RV trip, account for 20% more of everything than you would on a car trip. Like:

- 20% longer stops
- 20% more space than you need when parking, between cars on the highway, etc.
- 20% more time on the trip

Buckle up, remember 20%, and drive safe.
