Every year at Finals we look forward to presenting the “Up To S***f” Perpetual Sportsmanship Award, created in memory of Jennifer Quigley’s beloved mare, Up To S***f, lovingly known as Lola. Hard to believe we’ve been giving out this trophy for thirteen years now. It has truly become one of the moments we cherish most.

This award recognizes the qualities that matter most in our sport: decency, fair play, kindness, and graciousness in both victory and defeat. Riders are anonymously nominated by their peers, and an impartial party selects a single recipient whose spirit really stands out.

This year, that rider is Colby Wood.

Colby’s positivity and kindness shone all season long. She was always the first to cheer on her friends, lend a hand at the ring, and celebrate others’ successes. And at Finals, she was one of the very last kids still there at the end of a long day, helping pick up the ring, pack up, and organize without ever being asked. No matter her own results, she never forgot to give her pony a pat and take something meaningful from every ride.

Her grace, encouragement, and genuine love for the sport make her a wonderful role model for younger riders and such a bright example of what this award represents.

Congratulations, Colby. We are so proud of you. 💛🐴

We have so many awards to highlight and celebrate from our Finals last weekend. Today we celebrate Balthazar, owned by Chicory Meadow Farm, who took home the Cavallo Veterinary Services Solid Citizen Award. This award is extra special because it is the judges choice for the entire day and goes to the horse who stood out as the most steady, forgiving, kind and truly the partner we all cherish.

Thank you to Andrea Sotela of Cavallo Veterinary Services for sponsoring this meaningful award and for recognizing the importance of honoring these incredible horses. And congratulations to Balthazar. You are a very good boy.

Looking back with so much pride at our 2025 HVHJA Rhinebeck Equine Medal Finals!

Sponsored by our longtime friends and supporters at Rhinebeck Equine, this special class continues to grow each year, giving our riders the chance to experience a true medal finals atmosphere right here at the local level.

Riders from across the 2’, 2’6”, and 3’ sections took on a beautifully challenging course, with the top four called back to test. It was an exciting, hard-fought class and a wonderful showcase of talent, sportsmanship, and horsemanship.

We’re still smiling after the most incredible day at HVHJA Finals at the beautiful Three Pheasant Farm. 💙

Congratulations to every single rider, trainer, and family who joined us. The energy, sportsmanship, and joy you all brought made it such a special day. Everything ran so smoothly and it reminded us how lucky we are to be part of this amazing community.

A huge thank you to the incredibly generous owners of Three Pheasant Farm for opening their stunning farm to us and helping make this event possible. It was the perfect way to close out the season surrounded by friends, horses, and so much love for the sport.

We are truly grateful for each and every one of you. Here’s to another beautiful year ahead. 💫

Follow the signs marked HVHJA Finals and look for the parking signs once you arrive. Trailer and general parking is in the field.

Here are the estimated times for the day. Please remember that times are approximate and classes may run faster or slower than listed.

✨ Morning schooling will be open in the show ring from 7:00 to 7:45 AM. Outdoor schooling open all day.

Please take note of the two scheduled schooling breaks.

Final Day!!!
Today is the final day to enter HVHJA Finals on November 8th and we are SO excited! 🐴✨ Ribbons and prizes have arrived, everything looks incredible, and we are just beyond thrilled to welcome you all to what might be the most stunning indoor we have ever seen. Only 10 days to go!

All points are now updated and finalized on the website, so be sure to take a look before the big day!
