A little over a week ago, we welcomed 21 beautiful dogs on our latest transportā€”and this moment was just the beginning of their next chapter.
A huge thank you to Stephanie and her team at Sylacauga Paws (Sylacauga Animal Shelter) for transporting these 21 dogs 1,100 miles to our facility. Weā€™d like to also give a big thank you to John Bartlett for connecting us with another wonderful shelter that traveled 500 miles to Sylacauga to give 6 wonderful pups a new beginning and be included in the transport to Hudson Paws Dog Rescue. Thank you so much to Amanda and her team at Southern Pets Animal Rescue. We are so grateful for the care, time, and dedication that went into getting each of these pups safely to us.

Each one arrived with their own story, but they all had one thing in common: they deserved a second chance. Watching them step off that transport and knowing we could help give them the love, safety, and future they deserve is exactly why we do what we do.

There is something so incredibly special about watching a dog who has lost trust in humans slowly learn to trust again. Watching their walls come down, seeing them realize they are safe, and becoming the people they can finally count on is one of the most rewarding parts of rescue. Every tail wag, every first belly rub, every little moment of progress, and every happy adoption reminds us that we are making a difference in these dogsā€™ lives. Their past may have been difficult, but we get to help give them the future they always deserved.
Sullivan County Animal Rescue-SPCA was also able to able to help out with taking a couple pups from our transport! We couldnā€™t be thankful enough for the community, support, and rescue connections we have.

And the best part? They are now all available for adoption!!

Could one of these sweet faces be your new best friend? Help us share their stories and find them the forever homes theyā€™ve been waiting for!

A huge thank you to Olde Hudson for sponsoring and naming one of our recent transport pups! This sweet pup now has a brand-new name to match his new beginning: Truffle!

Olde Hudson is a beloved specialty food market and cafƩ passionate about food, offering everything from gourmet cheeses and specialty pantry items to prime meats, fresh seafood, produce, and so many delicious finds.

But to us, Olde Hudson is so much more than an amazing local business. They have been wonderful advocates for Hudson Paws and an incredible support to our rescue and the dogs we work so hard to help. Their continued support truly makes a difference.

We are so grateful for their generosity, kindness, and commitment to helping our pups find their happily ever afters. Thank you, Olde Hudson, for giving Truffle his special name and for being such an important part of the Hudson Paws family!
