As of Thursday, the CDC has indicated Columbia County's Community Level is high. You can take these extra precautions to protect yourself and others:

Wear a mask indoors in public and on public transportation
Stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines
Get tested if you have any symptoms

Department of Health reports the sad news of another local COVID death, the seventh local COVID death in the last month. The 22 people currently hospitalized with COVID is the most since late August. Vaccination, masking and social distancing remain our best protections, as COVID cases rise again locally and nationally.
