Yesterday, members of the Howell Rotary Club came together for a meaningful service project supporting our local veterans!

Together, we assembled over 100 bags filled with food and essential items to help support veterans in need throughout Livingston County.

We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with Livingston County Veteran Services and give back to those who have given so much for our country.

A huge thank you to our Rotary members who donated items, volunteered their time, and helped make this project possible!

To all of our veterans, thank you for your service, sacrifice, and dedication to our country.

The Howell Rotary Club had a fantastic time yesterday at the Livingston County Literacy Coalition’s annual trivia fundraiser!

Our team, Service Above Syllables, put our trivia skills to the test and brought home 3rd place! 🏆👏

We were also proud to support this wonderful event as a table sponsor, helping raise awareness and support for literacy programs right here in Livingston County.

A big thank you to the organizers, volunteers, and everyone who made the evening such a success!

💜 Walking for a Cause! 💜

J.J. Lewis and Nicole Matthews-Creech are representing the Howell Rotary Club today at the Walk to End Alzheimer’s!

We’re cheering them on as they walk to raise awareness, support families affected by Alzheimer’s, and help bring us one step closer to a world without this disease.

💙 Getting to Know Our Fellow Rotarians! 💛

We’re excited to support Howell High School Construction students as they put their skills to work building a new storage shed for Livingston County United Way.

Howell Rotary will match community donations dollar for dollar, up to $750, to help provide the materials these students need to bring the project to life.

A big thank you to the Howell Education Foundation, Howell Public School District, and Livingston County United Way for partnering to make this opportunity possible for the students.

🍈 One Final Melon Ice Cream Thank You! 🍦

As we wrap up another successful year of Howell Rotary’s Melon Ice Cream fundraiser, we want to give a huge THANK YOU to Howell Recreation and Frontal Lobe Coworking!

Each year, Howell Recreation allows us to sell our famous Melon Ice Cream on the beautiful historic courthouse lawn during the Howell Melon Festival. Their team puts together an incredible festival for our community and provides us with the opportunity to make this important fundraiser happen. We truly couldn’t do it without their support!

A big thank you also goes to Frontal Lobe, who graciously allows us to utilize their space throughout festival weekend to store our supplies and keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Having a convenient home base right downtown is an instrumental part of making our fundraiser successful.

It truly takes a community to make Melon Ice Cream happen each year, and we are so grateful to Howell Recreation and Frontal Lobe for being part of ours. 💙🍈

A Livingston County native, Amy and her husband, Jim, have called Brighton home for the past 17 years, where they’ve raised their children, Jesse and Annalise. For Amy, serving the community is something the whole family values, making Rotary a natural extension of that commitment.
