While cleaning out the second floor of the Opera House for something big, we found a few surprises, including some old jokes tucked away in our collection.

Moments like these remind us how much history, laughter, and life have filled these walls over the years. Each discovery connects us a little more to the generations who gathered here before and to the community that continues to keep this place alive today!

We look forward to sharing what is coming next upstairs. In the meantime, we would love to hear your favorite memories or stories from the Howell Opera House!

The Howell Opera House has always been a community story, one built on care, passion, and the belief that this historic space deserves to shine again.

As we look ahead to restoring the second floor, we know this next chapter will take all of us, our neighbors, supporters, and dreamers working together to bring new life to this building and the heart of downtown Howell.
