Marlas asked me to post these. Some clean up and a redo of a flagstone path. I don't do all the heavy lifting myself but the flagstone I did clean all the inside to redo stone in between. No gardens ever start or even end in perfection. Always a work in progress. That is why I like them, like life always evolving. Lots of hidden gems.

My favorite potted plant for this season - 'painter's pallette', Persicaria. It's actually a perennial for a shady spot but I put it in a pot for my front porch. It makes a beautiful specimen presentation, no flowers needed. Do you have a favorite plant for this season? Please share. πŸ˜ƒ Marlas

The lakeside home and gardens of HGC member Barb V are one of my favorite places to visit. It is getting a little late in the season but Barb's gardens are still a treat. And thanks for the fresh wax beans, Barb. We will enjoy them tonight. πŸ˜ƒ
