SNAP team member, Tori, recently spent two weeks in American Samoa with Animal Balance , working alongside veterinary professionals and local volunteers to provide lifesaving care.

Together, they exceeded their goal of 300 surgeries, completing 546 spay/neuter surgeries and 60 wellness exams!

But for Tori, the most meaningful part wasn’t the numbers. It was the kindness of the community, the connections she made, and the reminder that veterinary medicine is about so much more than surgery. It’s about serving communities, building relationships, and creating a healthier future for animals and the people who love them.

We’re so proud of you, Tori, and grateful you brought a little bit of SNAP spirit all the way to American Samoa!

Tuesday night, SNAP joined Silvia Trevino,Harris County Constable Precinct 6 for National Night Out! 🎉🐾

We had a great turnout and connected with many families looking for affordable spay/neuter services, vaccinations, and preventive care for their pets.

Of course, the real star of the show was Chucky, our 17-year-old Chihuahua and spay/neuter mascot! 🌟 He loved meeting everyone and soaking up all the attention.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and to Pct.6 Constable Silvia Trevino for hosting such a wonderful community event!
