Today, on International Friendship Day, we're thrilled to officially introduce the incredible women leading this year's Rockin' Resiliency Luncheon: Dr. Liz Grimm and Monica Fulton, our 2026 Luncheon Chairs. 🧡

Some friendships begin in the most unexpected places.

For Liz and Monica, it started while standing in line to meet a few adorable rescue puppies. A simple conversation led to the discovery they lived on parallel streets. Before long, they discovered they had much more in common than just adopting rescues, they were both members of The Women's Fund and have built a lasting friendship rooted in kindness, encouragement, and a shared commitment to helping others thrive.

Today, that friendship is helping shape something even bigger.

Earlier this year, we proudly honored Liz and Monica as resilient, visionary leaders whose impact reaches far beyond their professions.

✨ Dr. Liz Grimm is a mom, professor, researcher, mentor, and trailblazer dedicated to advancing health, education, and innovation.
✨ Monica Fulton is a mom, mentor, volunteer, and talent leader who empowers students and emerging professionals to pursue meaningful careers and reach their full potential.

Together, they believe resiliency is more than a character trait - it's a skill, a practice, and an essential part of living a healthy life.

As Chairs of this year's luncheon, they'll launch the inaugural Liz Grimm InnovateHER Scholarship, raise critical funds to bring health education and resiliency programming to women and girls across Greater Houston.

This November, join us as we celebrate friendship, leadership, and the extraordinary power of resilience. Because when women lift one another, encourage one another, and believe in one another, there's no limit to what we can achieve.
