This Women's Veterans Day, we are proud to celebrate one of our very own. Ladies and gentlemen, your Woman Veteran of the Year, Jibrell P Crump!

We could not be more proud of Jibrell for receiving the Dr. LaShondra Jones Woman's Leadership Award. Her dedication to serving others, uplifting the Veteran community, and leading by example makes this recognition incredibly well deserved.

We're also incredibly lucky to have Jibrell as part of the Stay Tuned for Vets family as one of our AmeriCorps VISTAs. Her passion, leadership, and commitment continue to make a difference every day.

It was great seeing all of our AmeriCorps VISTAs together again. This team is absolutely CRUSHING it, and we're excited to see the impact they will continue to make in our community.

Congratulations, Jibrell! We are honored to celebrate this achievement with you.

What a fantastic night on the dance floor! 💃

We had a great group of community members come out and get their dance on with us at our Country & Modern Line Dancing event. From first-timers to experienced dancers, everyone brought amazing energy and made it a fun and welcoming evening.

A huge thank you to instructor Kelli McBee for sharing her talent and helping everyone learn some new moves. We love creating opportunities for our community to connect, stay active, and have fun together.

Thanks to our partnership with Camp SHiEld - After Military Service, Stay Tuned for Vets has welcomed an incredible group of AmeriCorps VISTA members who are already hitting the ground running.

These motivated individuals bring fresh ideas, diverse talents, and a strong commitment to serving Veterans, service members, and their families. From expanding programs and strengthening community partnerships to increasing access to resources, they are ready to help us take our mission even further.

We are excited to see what we can accomplish together and the difference we can make in the lives of those we serve. The future is bright, and we can't wait to share this journey with our community.

Our first outing with our new AmeriCorps VISTA team was a success! 🎉

This week, our VISTAs joined us at a special meet-and-greet hosted by Dr. LaShondra Jones of the City of Houston Department of Neighborhoods (DON)'s to welcome the new Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center Director, Amir Farooqi. The event brought together Veterans, community organizations, charities, and supporters for an evening of networking, resource sharing, and fellowship.

We're excited to officially welcome our newest team members and begin this next chapter together. With the addition of our summer VISTAs, Stay Tuned for Vets is stronger than ever and ready to accomplish even more for the Veteran and military community we proudly serve.
