Good Samaritan Service Christian charity organization helping projects with long term impact and lasting spiritual and physical effects for many families and children.

🌍✝️ Happy Global Coptic Day!
Today, we celebrate the rich heritage, faith, and enduring witness of the Coptic Orthodox Church around the world 🌎.
We give thanks for the countless acts of love, compassion, and service offered through the Good Samaritan Service, reflecting Christ's command to care for those in need.
As Copts across the globe unite in faith and fellowship, may we continue to be instruments of God's peace, extending kindness, hope, and support to our communities.
Let us honor our legacy not only through remembrance, but through lives dedicated to serving others with humility and love.
"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." (Matthew 5:16)

This year; with the grace of the Lord the Good Samaritan Service of Houston aims to support Back-to-School Service, and reached out with a heartfelt school supplies and assistance to 1,500 students in Bani Suef and the surrounding poor villages.
Many struggling families are doing their best to keep their children in school, and together we can help ease their burden and allow these children to continue their education with dignity and hope.
Any contribution, big or small, can make a meaningful difference in a child’s life.

Lord, You are love, not just loving but love itself, the very essence of who You are, the foundation of everything You do.

When I don't understand Your ways or question Your decisions, I need to remember that love isn't just something You show but who You fundamentally are.

Teach me that because You are love, everything that comes from You is filtered through love, every action motivated by love, every plan designed in love.

You can't act outside of Your nature, which means You cannot be unloving, cannot withhold love, cannot treat me with anything but love even when I don't recognize it.

Help me interpret my circumstances through the lens of Your nature, to trust that if God is love, then even what feels hard or confusing must somehow be love working.

Remind me that being loved by the God who IS love means I'm loved with a perfect, unchanging, unconditional love that will never fail or run out.

Give me security in knowing that love isn't just what You feel about me but what You are, making Your love toward me as certain as Your existence.

Let this truth settle deep in my soul today, that God is love, and everything He does flows from that reality, including how He loves me.

In Jesus' name,

🌸 A Mother’s Day Blessing 🌸
We are excited to share some wonderful news with the Good Samaritan Service community!
Through the generosity and compassion of our amazing donors, a new support service for 50 widows and their families has officially been organized and is now ready to be funded this Mother’s Day. ❤️
This initiative is more than just assistance, it is a message of hope, love, and remembrance to mothers and families who deserve care and support during challenging times.
We are deeply grateful to every donor, supporter, and volunteer who helped make this possible. Your kindness is creating real impact and bringing smiles to many homes this season.
As we celebrate Mother’s Day, let us continue spreading compassion and uplifting those in need.
