At our August General Body Meeting, the Houston Lawyers Association was honored to receive a resolution from Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis recognizing HLA’s historic contributions to Houston’s legal community and our continued commitment to service, justice, advocacy, and leadership.

For more than seven decades, HLA has stood on the shoulders of trailblazers who created space, opened doors, and strengthened our community. We are proud to carry that legacy forward while building an organization prepared to meet the challenges of today.
