📣EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT!📣

The YMCA of Greater Houston has generously donated a gift basket valued at $1,200 for our Houston WALK to End Hydrocephalus. This prize includes a one-year membership for a family of four, which can be used at any YMCA location throughout the city!

Tickets are available for $10 each.

We are encouraging our teams to start selling tickets NOW!

Here’s what you need to know to receive fundraising credit for your team:
1. Sell tickets using the tracking form that has been emailed to registered participants.
2. Collect payment for the tickets.
3. Purchase the raffle tickets on WALK Day.
4. The drawing will take place immediately after the walk.
5. The Team Captain must deliver the gift basket to the winner.
6. Please allow 2-4 weeks post-WALK to receive fundraising credit.

📣Don’t wait until WALK Day, register online TODAY!

⭐There are several reasons why we ask walkers to register prior to the day of the event.

📓PLANNING. The local volunteers work very hard to ensure that everything is in place for a fun and safe day for all. This includes securing donations for food, beverages, supplies, etc.

🗣SPREADING THE WORD AND FUNDRAISING. Registered participants get a personal WALK to End Hydrocephalus fundraising page. From there, you can share your story, email friends for support, and start a linked Facebook fundraiser.

📩COMMUNICATION. We don’t want you to miss any details! All registered WALK participants will receive important information detailing all the logistics surrounding WALK Day.
