Today, on World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, we stand together to raise awareness, support survivors, and reaffirm our commitment to protecting the dignity and rights of every individual.

Human trafficking can happen anywhere, and education is one of our strongest tools in preventing it. By recognizing the signs, speaking up, and supporting efforts to end exploitation, we can help create safer communities for all.

If you or someone you know needs support, RESOLVE is here for you: 713-640-3762. ✨. You are not alone. 🤍

Congratulations to another outstanding group of graduates! 🎉

Today we celebrated the successful completion of the 8-session Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP), presented in partnership with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, at La Tiendita.

Participants gained practical skills to prepare healthier meals, stretch their grocery budgets, keep food safe, stay physically active, and create healthier habits for themselves and their families. Each week they set personal goals, encouraged one another, and took meaningful steps toward lasting lifestyle changes.

At La Tiendita, our Health Equity work goes beyond providing food assistance. We are committed to giving families the knowledge, tools, and confidence they need to make healthier choices that can improve their well-being for years to come. When we invest in nutrition education, we invest in stronger families and a healthier community.

Congratulations to each graduate on this wonderful accomplishment! We are proud of your dedication and grateful to our partners at Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service for helping make this program possible. ❤️🥕🍎
