This past Tuesday, Community 180 had the honor of celebrating two incredible young people who completed our PATHH RESET Program.

These youth came to us through the court system but they made a decision to change. Over the past 8 weeks, they committed to accountability, growth, and finishing what they started.

Today, one is gainfully employed and preparing to graduate, and the other has made a powerful commitment to refocus and make his family proud.

We are proud of their strength, their effort, and their transformation.

Southeast Texas, it’s time.

Community180 proudly announces the Choose Up Southeast Texas Summit, a three-city movement designed to confront the rising concerns impacting our youth and families across the Golden Triangle.

Drug usage. Va**ng. Violence. Truancy. Academic decline.

We are seeing our sons and daughters carried away on the news far too often. This problem is not just on parents. It’s not just on schools. It’s not just on city officials.

It’s on all of us.

The Choose Up SETX Summit will bring together families, youth, educators, law enforcement, nonprofits, and city leaders for real conversations and real solutions. This is about strengthening families so our youth can rise.

Each city stop will include:

• A community rally atmosphere
• A solutions-driven forum
• Prevention insight including the PATHH Youth Stabilization Program
• Open dialogue with leaders
• The HUG SETX Free Resource Shopping Experience for registered households (while supplies last)

Community180 is hosting a Community Impact Workshop focused on strengthening our youth and supporting the families that shape them. This workshop will introduce and inform the public about our PATHH initiative and how we are working together to create measurable impact in our city.

Last night Community 180 officially launched the first class of our PATHH Reset Program and it was powerful.

From the facilitators showing up with purpose, to the young people leaning in and engaging, the energy in the room reminded us why this work matters. PATHH Reset is about more than attendance, it’s about accountability, support, and helping students reset their direction before setbacks become permanent.

We’re proud to be on the ground doing real work to combat truancy and create pathways forward in communities like Port Arthur Independent School District.

This is only the beginning, but it’s a strong one.
