My vet friend contacted me regarding Sammy. Sammy was pulled off the kill list by a wonderful man who saved her because she was only being killed because she needed a skin treatment. She is currently being held at my Westbury Animal Hospital. She is 4 mo, 25 lbs...and very sweet. She need a foster for approx 4-6 weeks while she is going through her demodex treatments. Vet bills and care for her and daily pay to a foster will be provided by the man that rescued her. If you are interested, have room, and can foster for 1-2 months max...please respond by emailing me at [email protected] with "Sammy" in the subject, or call me at 713-726-4833 so I can get your info and give you more info and put you in touch with Dr. Garb. This girl was saved from death once already....she just needs a little boost so she can find her forever home. (He is willing to pay a foster $15/day...$105/week, so I need to personally screen you via phone)

Please make sure your pet food is safe and healthy. I read a report of a woman feeding Beniful for the entire life of her dog and recently had to take it to the vet for symtoms of kidney failure. The vet said he would have easily mistaken it for antifreeze poisoning it was so bad. Complete kidney failure and death was the result of an owner feeding what Purina and the FDA will not recall. Shame on you Purina.

For those of us with pets, often they are members of the family. Their care and health are important to us and when something goes wrong it can be devastating.

This beautiful girl may only have sight in one eye, but has enough love to give forever. She is purebred Siberian Husky that needs someone who will love her and adopt her from the AUSTIN Humane Society. Please share, I have lots of dog friendly friends, thanks.

Urgent-Houston! This beautiful male (approx 9 mo old), I have named Ramsey, was found and brought to me today. I would love to keep him he is amazing, but my complex has a very strict "No Dog" policy. He has a very, very sweet temperament. He knows some commands and is great on a leash. He does like to chase cats and birds, but I am sure that is because he has been confined to a yard. He is great in my house, and is house broken. The dog will be taken to Montgomery County Animal Shelter tomorrow, if a rescue or foster doesn't step up. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED PLEASE CALL ME AT 713-726-4833. PLEASE SHARE!! Thanks.

This was said by the person that found her: By the way, from the few days that I have had her I’ve found that she is very social, gets along with other dogs and likes to be around people. She’s very sweet, likes to cuddle, and hasn’t had any accidents in the house. She also hasn’t chewed or torn up anything. Likes to play with dog toys but doesn’t seem to know how to play fetch yet.
I really think that she’s going to be a great dog, that’s pretty much why I am trying so hard to find her a home. "Please someone adopt this beautiful dog!!! I think someone dropped him off in our neighborhood and I've been taking care of him but I can't keep him. I must find him a good home THIS WEEK!! All of my Houston friends - please repost so we can find him a home THIS WEEK. He is male, not sure of breed, great with kids, great with other dogs, very friendly and playful!! It is 108 degrees here in Houston today! Take extra precaution in the summer with your pets. Make sure they have plenty of fresh water and shade. Keep them indoors if possible. If you really want to make their day fill up an inexpensive kiddie pool and let them play. **Please watch the weather with a loag coated animal...this is Houston folks, not Alaska....shave them, and keep them out of direct heat during peak times (Yes this means not jogging at noon with your golden retreiver)
