Hi, my name is Katerina(they call me Kat for short). I had lived with my momma since I was a puppy. We were always together and so very happy but all that changed the day she died. I'm 14 now and had no where to go. So, someone brought me to the shelter. I didn't understand where my momma had gone. I recently found out I have soft tissue sarcoma. The nice people at AWS are going to have my tumor removed and try to make me comfortable. I wish I could live out the rest of my life in a loving home. If you adopt me, the shelter will pay for all my veterinary care for the rest of my life and will provide my food. Adoption fee waived. They just want a loving home for me. I am surprisingly very energetic for my age and do not appear ill. I would do best with a retired person or someone home most of the time because I do not like being alone. Must be the only dog.
