What an incredible day for the arts in Downtown Houma!

From the music that filled our streets to the creativity, culture and community that brought us all together, Bayou Arts Fest 2026 was a beautiful reminder of what makes our region so special.

On behalf of the Bayou Regional Arts Council, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helped make this year’s festival possible.

To our sponsors, especially our presenting sponsor, Terrebonne General Health System Healthy Lifestyles Center, thank you for believing in our mission and investing in the arts in our community.

To our volunteers, thank you for the countless hours, hard work and dedication that went into bringing this festival to life. Events like this simply would not happen without you.

To our artists, musicians, performers, vendors and community partners, thank you for sharing your talents, your passion and your creativity with us. You are the heart of this festival.

And to our community, thank you for showing up, filling the streets of Downtown Houma and celebrating the incredible talent and culture of the bayou region.

But perhaps the most important part of Bayou Arts Fest is what happens long after the music stops.

The funds raised through this festival help put musical instruments into the hands of local schoolchildren and support the arts throughout our region. Every sponsorship, every donation and every show of support helps create opportunities for the next generation of artists, musicians and creative minds.

That’s what this festival is really about. It’s more than one day of music, art and celebration. It’s about keeping the arts alive, making them accessible and ensuring they continue to thrive for generations to come.

From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU for being part of Bayou Arts Fest 2026.

We’ll see you next year!
