There's a moment most of us have pictured: looking back on our life, asking what we'd wish we'd done differently.

Here's the version I don't want for you: "I wish I had spent less time worrying about whether God was going to take care of everything."

Here's the version I do: "I am glad I learned to trust the hand of the Father."

When we're unhappy, trust is often the thing keeping us stuck โ€” not lack of effort, not lack of answers, but a lack of trust. We go looking for certainty in everyone else's opinions and reassurance, when the real shift happens somewhere quieter: trusting ourselves enough to love who we are, and trusting that God will take care of the rest.

Worry is what fills the space where trust should live. And worry has never solved a single thing it was worried about.

If this is you โ€” if you've spent seasons of your life trying to control outcomes that were never yours to control โ€” you're not alone, and you can lay that worry down today.

Tell me in the comments: what's one thing you're choosing to trust God with today? I read every story. ๐Ÿ‘‡

There's a moment most of us have pictured: looking back on our life, asking what we'd wish we'd done differently.

Here's the version I don't want for you: "I wish I had spent so much energy collecting things instead of people."

Here's the version I do: "I am glad I invested my time in hearts, friendships, and community."

When we think of investments, we picture something tangible โ€” money, property, things we can see and touch. But the truest investment you'll ever make isn't in your bank account. It's in your mind, your relationships, the people you let close.

So ask yourself honestly: what's taking up energy and space in your life right now that isn't actually important to you? And what deserves more of your attention than it's currently getting โ€” the people, the friendships, the community that's quietly waiting on you?

If this is you โ€” if you've noticed your energy going toward things instead of people lately โ€” it's not too late to redirect it.

Tell me in the comments: who or what deserves more of your investment starting today? I read every story. ๐Ÿ‘‡

There's a moment most of us have pictured: looking back on our life, asking what we'd wish we'd done differently.

Here's the version I don't want for you: "I wish I had spent less time crying to God because of the life I was dealt."

Here's the version I do: "I am glad I learned to be grateful for the blessings in front of me, trusting that God's plan for my life was always better than the one I had planned."

There are seasons when life doesn't go the way we mapped it out โ€” the future we pictured with someone, the job, the family, the life we worked so hard to build. We sit with the disappointment. Then it turns into anger โ€” anger at life for the things we could never control in the first place.

But anger at what we can't control keeps us facing backward, fighting for a life that was never meant to be ours. Gratitude for what's actually in front of us, and trust that there's a better plan already in motion, is what turns us back around.

If this is you โ€” if you're grieving a life you worked hard for but didn't get to live โ€” you're not alone, and grief doesn't cancel out gratitude. They can sit in the same room.

Tell me in the comments: what's one blessing in front of you right now that you're choosing to be grateful for? I read every story. ๐Ÿ‘‡

There's a moment most of us have pictured: looking back on our life from the far end of it, asking what we'd wish we'd done differently.

Here's the version I don't want for you: "I wish I had spent less time comparing myself to other women."

Here's the version I do: "I am glad I spent time learning to love myself as I am."

The difference between those two sentences isn't talent, luck, or circumstance. It's where you decided to look for your worth โ€” outward, at someone else's life, or inward, at your own.

Happiness that depends on being better than, prettier than, more successful than someone else will always run out, because there's always another "than." But happiness built on knowing yourself, accepting yourself, and showing up as yourself? That one's yours to keep.

If this is you โ€” if you've spent years measuring your worth against someone else's life โ€” you're not alone, and it's not too late to change the sentence.

Tell me in the comments: what's one way you're choosing to validate yourself from within, starting today? I read every story. ๐Ÿ‘‡

Happy Motherโ€™s Day! ๐ŸŒธ

To all the moms who carry the load every single day โ€” the ones feeding their children not only with meals, but with knowledge, wisdom, and love. To the moms figuring out broken appliances, ordering parts, and learning how to fix things on their own. To the mothers rebuilding their lives one day at a time with courage that no one always sees.

To the moms working long hours, stretching every dollar, and showing up tired but still showing up. To the single mothers, the grandmothers raising grandchildren, the bonus moms, the grieving moms, and the women who mother through love and sacrifice.

We see you.
We honor you.
We celebrate your strength, resilience, and unwavering commitment to your families and communities.

Today, we thank you for all the unseen work, the sleepless nights, the sacrifices, and the unconditional love.

Happy Motherโ€™s Day from The Mariposa Foundation
