We were proud to launch a new tradition this year by recognizing our NPC Alumnus of the Year on the commencement stage. It was a special addition to the ceremony, and we can't wait to continue it next year!

In the meantime, keep your eyes open for fellow Nighthawks doing remarkable things. National Park College is proud to recognize Jason Kuhn as the 2026 Outstanding Alumnus of the Year, an honor presented during last month’s Commencement ceremony.

A lifelong Hot Springs resident and 2000 NPC graduate, Jason has built an impressive career in the food service and hospitality industry.

“My experience at NPC was the ideal starting point,” Kuhn said. “I’m thankful for the opportunities it gave me and the path it helped create.”

Winning Most Spirited for the second year in a row takes dedication.

And by dedication, we mean teamwork, creativity, community spirit, some Lil D's Big Energy Lemonade, and maybe a few strategically delivered judge appreciation "gifts", thanks to NPC's Makerspace.

We loved cheering on our NPC Welding students and their tub, Molten Mayhem, along with so many of our community partners.

We truly love being part of a community that knows how to work hard, give back, and have a little fun along the way!
