Unity Coalition of Garland County UCGC stands in solidarity with people who have been oppressed by racism and marginalization. Oh Lord, help us to esteem others above ourselves. Amen.

Pledge
The Unity Coalition Of Garland County acknowledges the inequities in our community, and we pledge to create actionable solutions. We recognize that disparities in public health, housing, education, criminal justice, and workforce advancement are ongoing, and in response, we will work to promote equality throughout Garland County. We pledge to listen to oppressed voices and uplift our youth

, and we pledge to address the overt and systemic discrimination in which marginalization is rooted. We understand that civil discourse, community outreach, and unified action is required to achieve significant change. We pledge to incorporate this Coalition’s mission into our daily work and community interactions. We as individual members pledge to address discrimination as we encounter it with education, love, and integrity. Prayer:
Lord God,
We, your creation, made in your image, ask that you will make in us hearts and minds that desire change. Empower us to lose our fears and love one another without boundaries. Father, please help us to treat each other with abundant mercy, forgiveness, and loving kindness. Let us do no evil or cause each other pain. Let us love each other as you love us.

On Saturday, October 15, 2022, HSPD will be participating in The Teen Drive Roadeo at the Hot Springs Junior Academy/Hot Springs World Class High School located at 401 Emory Street. Registration starts at 11:00 am and the event will be from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. This event is focused on novice and current teen drivers so they can understand the importance of road safety. We hope to see you there!
