Casting vets wants to Thank all who participated in the Father’s Day invitational at Southern Hills Golf Course. We purchased 5 teams in the Calcutta and one of those teams, father son duo Andrew & Modes Kerr took home the championship rings. Congratulations, guys. What an awesome win and an even better day on the course!

Big shoutout to Tom Berger for sponsoring this months Buddy night thank you! We appreciate our sponsors that help out with these nights month after month.
We had a great turnout this month with 30 people showing up and 12 of them were veterans, which made the whole night feel extra meaningful. The energy was good, people were laughing, connecting, swapping stories- exactly what Buddy’s Nighy is all about.
To everyone who came out to hang with us, thank you. The support Casting Vets gets from the community is truly appreciated and you’re the reason that these nights feel like family gatherings instead of just an event.
We are grateful for every single one of you who helps and we can’t wait to see everyone next month.

Hidden Lake sponsored the third annual kids fishing tournament and invited Casting Vets to help make the day special. We had an amazing turnout with 21 youngsters and hidden Lake generously raised $311 for Casting Vets.

We want to extend a heartfelt, thank you to hidden lake for giving us this wonderful opportunity and to the entire community for coming out and supporting the tournament your involvement is what makes events like this meaningful.

We hope to see everyone again next year and congratulations to all of this year‘s winners!

Does your child love to fish, do they have a competitive side. Come on out to Hidden Lake Campground and Resort this Saturday for the 3rd annual youth fishing derby fundraiser. Entry fee is $25. Prizes and trophies will be awarded in each of the age brackets. Meeting starts at 9:30. Derby will end at noon with lunch to follow.

Casting Vets had a fantastic day at Cold Brook! Spending time with friends from the State Veterans Home and enjoying a fishing trip creates a wonderful opportunity for connection and joy. Helping the ladies keep the gentlemen entertained is such a thoughtful way to ensure everyone had a great time. A big thank you to Nick for his support and contributions, as well as to the State Veterans Home for welcoming us to be apart of this! The ladies that put it together deserve recognition for organizing such a meaningful outing.

Not many pictures were taken today but what an absolute fun day. We had 27 veterans on Orman. We want to thank Kevin Vaughn with Wild Walleye Outfitters for putting together the 3rd annual Orman trips. Also we want to thank all the boat captions that donated both their time and boats to make today possible. We had 14 boats on the water. Thank you Brunchies for donating 50 lunches. You would be surprised how much a sack lunch is appreciated. Thank you Pikes Second Hand Sportsman in Rapid city for donating the bait.
The new shirts are now available to everyone. We have L-2X on Hand. If you need larger, please reach out so we can get that order in.

What a night! Casting Vets kicked off our Buddy Night summer season by sponsoring the first Buddy Night in the park. With 24 people- 15 of them veterans, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you to everyone who came out to the park and shared the beautiful weather and good vibes with us! Here’s to many more nights like this.
