Boys State is IN SESSION — and Thursday is about to FIRE on all cylinders! 🇺🇸

Our South Dakota Boys Staters are up and moving — breakfast is done and the Flag Ceremony is moments away. From there, it’s the Ninth General Assembly, Governor Candidate Debates, Supreme Court proceedings, and State elections. These young men aren’t just reading about democracy — they’re LIVING it.

And tonight? They’ll cap it all off honoring a newly elected Boys State Governor at the Governor’s Banquet — a leader chosen by their own peers.

This is exactly why The American Legion has invested in Boys State for over 85 years — because the future of this republic depends on citizens who know how to lead, serve, and engage.
