🎬🍿 Friday Movie Day! 🍿🎬

It’s Friday, it’s HOT, and it’s been a long week… so today we decided the best place to be was kicked back in some comfy chairs, enjoying the A/C, popcorn, and a good movie at the Showbox Movie Theater!

Just a reminder that we will be CLOSED Monday in observance of Labor Day. 🇺🇸

We’re Looking for Magazine Donations! ✂️🏠

Our participants here at Trace Industries are working on a fun creative project where they’ll be decorating their own cardboard homes using pictures and cutouts from magazines.

We’re looking for old or unwanted magazines that you’d be willing to donate. Home décor, travel, food, fashion, sports, nature—anything with colorful pictures and interesting things to cut out would be perfect!

If you have a stack of magazines collecting dust, we’d love to give them a new purpose! ❤️

📍 Donations can be dropped off at Trace Industries in Hopkinsville from 8am-2pm at 430 Davenport Lane.

Today we had the honor of giving back to some of the people who selflessly give to our community every day. We were grateful for the opportunity to wash the fire trucks for the Hopkinsville Fire/EMS—a small way to say thank you for the incredible service they provide.

Firefighters are among the first to answer the call when others are facing their worst moments. Their bravery, compassion, and unwavering commitment to protecting our community deserve our deepest appreciation.

We are especially thankful to the Hopkinsville Fire Department for not only welcoming us today, but also for pouring into our program through their generous donation. Their support is more than a gift—it is an investment in the individuals we serve and a reminder of what strong community partnerships look like.

The strongest communities are built when we all pour into one another. Today, we had the privilege of serving those who serve us, and we are incredibly grateful for community partners who continue to encourage, support, and believe in our mission. Thank you, Hopkinsville Fire Department, for all that you do!

A huge thank you to the Cartwright Grove & Mayfield-Graves County Fair for welcoming us with open arms and bringing all the fun!

The rain may have changed the plans a little, but it definitely did not stop the fun. We just took the party inside! From musical chairs and horse racing to limbo, bingo, plenty of pizza, & the laughs never stopped.

We are so thankful for this partnership and for a day filled with smiles, connection, and wonderful memories. We truly appreciate everyone who helped make the day such a success! 💙💚

Not just for a color… but for a cause that matters.

World Autism Awareness Day is about more than awareness — it’s about understanding, acceptance, and celebrating the incredible individuals who make our world more vibrant in their own unique ways.

✨ A few quick facts:
• Autism affects 1 in 36 children in the U.S.
• No two people with autism are the same — every journey is different
• Inclusion and support can open doors to endless possibilities

Today we wore blue to stand together, to learn more, and to remind others that kindness, patience, and acceptance go a long way.

What a fantastic day it’s been! ☀️

We stayed productive and had plenty of fun along the way—enjoying the outdoors, working on crossword puzzles, and playing games in the fresh air. We rolled up our sleeves for a cooking class that was a hit from start to finish… especially the taste-testing part! 👩‍🍳

We also had a few who ventured out to the Apple Valley Hillbilly Garden & Toyland!

To top it all off, we tapped into our creative side and explored our artistic talents. It’s been a busy day—but a great one!
