This month’s CreativeMornings Honolulu theme is: Camino.

Camino (pronounced Kah-Mee-Noh) is a Spanish word meaning “path” or “way.”

You don’t have to know exactly where your path leads, just trust that you’ll learn what you need along the way. Wherever you are headed, we wish you, as they say in Oviedo, “buen camino.” May you have a safe and meaningful journey.

This month’s theme was chosen by our Oviedo chapter in Asturias, Spain and illustrated by Marta Vila . Explore new paths with this month’s hashtag:

We’re excited to welcome this month’s speaker: Solario.

An independent illustrator based in sunny Waikīkī, Solario draws inspiration from the tropical locale and the charm of 20th-century design. His illustrations celebrate the cultural, natural, historical, and architectural aspects of life in the islands. Through his art, he hopes to transport you to the Hawai‘i of yesteryear, evoking warm tropical vibes and the feeling of endless sunshine.

Join us as he shares his creative path and perspective on this month’s theme, Camino.
