Aloha Everyone,
As you all know, the Consulate General of Nepal (San Francisco) team is here in Hawaiʻi to provide consular services. We initially planned a meet-and-greet on Friday evening; however, due to work schedules and rush-hour traffic, many are unavailable. Therefore, we have rescheduled the meeting to Saturday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
📍 Location: 1633 East West Rd, Honolulu (Hale Halawai, inside University of Hawaiʻi)
If you have questions regarding NRN cards, passport services, or any other consular matters, our consulate representatives will be available to assist and answer your questions.
We are also planning a potluck with light snacks. Please feel free to bring anything you’d like to share—there’s no set menu.
Your participation will encourage us to continue hosting similar events in the future, so we hope to see you there.

Mahalo!

Aloha Everyone,
The Consulate General of Nepal, San Francisco will be coming to Hawaiʻi and bringing essential consular services such as passport renewal, power of attorney, Attestation and NRN ID card services. This is a golden opportunity for our community to access these services locally and save thousands of dollars that would otherwise be spent traveling to San Francisco or Washington, DC. We will also be hosting a town hall meeting, where you can attend and ask consulate officials any questions you may have. If you need any of these services or would like to attend the town hall, please let me know as soon as possible and take full advantage of this rare opportunity for our Hawaiʻi Nepali community.

Mahalo!

Aloha Election Committee Members,

Happy New Year 2026 to you all.

On behalf of SNEHA Society of Nepalese in Hawaii, I would like to inform you that this year’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) will need to be postponed by one month. This decision has been made as some of our members are currently unable to attend and fully participate due to health-related issues. We believe allowing additional time will ensure broader and more meaningful participation.

In light of this adjustment, I kindly request the Election Committee to proceed with calling for nominations for the following vacant positions:

Vice President

Assistant Secretary

Two (2) Executive Committee Members

I would also like to sincerely apologize for the delay in formally requesting the Election Committee to initiate this process.

As we move into the new year, I want to take a moment to thank each of you for your continued support and dedication to SNEHA. I look forward to everyone’s active participation in our upcoming events hosted by SNEHA in 2026. As you all know, a great deal of work goes on behind the scenes to organize any event, and your participation is what truly makes them successful. I kindly encourage everyone to see this as a shared responsibility—to promote, participate in, and support our events. This collective effort is what keeps our community strong and motivated to continue hosting meaningful programs.

Let us work together and make 2026 a successful and memorable year for SNEHA.

Mahalo,
Dinesh Timilsina
